This is not the same Chevys I fell in love with when I lived in St. Louis years back! They no longer have the Diablo Burrito on the menu and the food was under average. Our waitress was nice, but the service was so slow. It took 2 hrs for me and a co-worker to sit down, order, and pay! They would have got 1 star, but they had Cholula sauce!
Fine selection of quality liquors and a great neighborhood restaurant with excellent service now carrying the award winning Ironsmoke line featuring top rated 95.5 Ironsmoke Bourbon 80 & rare 120 Cask Strength along with the Double Gold Rattlesnake Rosie’s Apple pie and Maple Bacon flavors so delicious !
It is always a good time at Chevy's in Linden. Steven and Erika give the right amount of attention and the food tastes good. This is becoming the place where I start my Saturday nights.
Best coronita( margarita + corona),. Food is really taste and atmosphere is calm and nice. You'll have fun. Food is generous portions. And drinks are huge.Prefer this place all the time for good Mexican food. In linden.
I'm sorry but I got to say the truth. The food is not good. I think the only thing that tasted good were the chips that were brought out to the table when we initially got there. The servers were friendly but the food was just not good. We ordered burritos, enchiladas, and chicken fajitas. The burritos and enchiladas were cold. The tortilla felt like you were literally eating it straight out of the fridge. The food was a variety of bland and then salty on some portions. The sides which were beans, and rice looked reheated, and tasted days old. The guacamole was super sour and just tasted disgusting. So in plain words not good. The only reason I gave two stars is because the servers were nice enough to replace the cold plates, but even after it was remade it was still semi cold and just not good tasting.
Good service, even with a limited staff (Definitely Covid related) Food was great
The food served here is Mexican and American fusion. The burger that I ate was pretty good. The fries that came with the burger were okay but nothing to write home about. The chips and salsa that they serve is okay. My husband ate a salmon dish with Mexican rice, and mixed vegetables. Seafood lovers if you like your fish fresh, don't eat it here. The rice was okay, and the mixed vegetables were good. As an appetizer we had queso/chili with tortilla chips...that was underwhelming. The servers were kinda and polite. Over all this place was a so-so experience, but I doubt we will return anytime soon unless we're hard up to find a location.
Initially we were sat at a table that was dirty, had to ask for it to be wiped down. Floor was full of fries as if they had previously wiped it or table near us down and they fell on the floor. Chairs also needed to be wiped out. So with the server, her name was Felicia R., she didn’t know what or how the Happy Hour worked or what was on it. She’s say “ I think it’s only, I think that may be included as well.” She brought food ordered and we immediately didn’t like something and told her, she said “good thing you didn’t pay full price!” I got up to walk towards the front to ask for Manager and apparently she headed to the table. So when she did, I told her we weren’t going to eat item and to take it off check. She did then we had to ask for our check and waited forever for it and had to asked a few times even from other people who worked here. I can say, other items ordered, including Happy Hour drinks we ordered were all good.
I am SO glad i decided to come take my family here. It was our first time coming to eat here. Our waitress Serenity was absolutely amazing! she gave us some delicious recommendations and explained each plate in detail. Plus margaritas are $3! We had such a wonderful experience we highly recommend the food and experience here! Thank you so much serenity you are awesome by far the best dinning experience we’ve had !!
They do a nice fajita platter here. They used to make the tortillas fresh. This time they tasted like they were from a bag.
Been going here since I was little. Great food and they've never disappointed me! The servers are really funny and friendly! Lot's of food for 11-13 dollars? That's a steal! And their salsa and chips appetizer... man that salsa must have rainbows in it or something. Way too good!!
Quick seating and friendly staff. There was not space between tables, but staff wore masks. The response time of the server was a bit slow, but not incredibly long. Large serving size for the SW cobb salad (really too much for one), and the chips tasted a bit stale.
The food is always good. The service is hit or miss, as most food chains are. Long than expected wait times but they seemed a bit under-staffed due to covid im sure. Try the flautas
Like always the establishment is clean, follow the social distance rules, the bartender was great funny and friendly!! Drinks on point!! 100% great.
The customer service at this Linden location starting with the two male Greeters/Hostesses, our waitress, the young man who brought out our meal to the table, and including the kind woman who was cleaning & overheard me talking that brought me ketchup was great! The waiting was not to my liking but I understand given the CDC recommendations. Still I was 'hangry' ? at 6pm and my face showed it. The food ordered (Shrimps cilantro dipped kebabs w/rice & veggies, steak sizzling fajitas, hamburger, and Chicken quesadilla) was absolutely delicious ?, and the margaritas ? was ??. Definitely returning. ?
