“Big hit. This past Sat morning I stopped in for some treats and saw the Halloween display. Although it needed to be preorder, and twisting for the morning was nearly done, the Owner stopped what she was doing and made a Halloween wreath with spiders and Boos. I went back a few hours later to pickup the finish pretzel. It was a bit hit at the party. I only wish I took a picture of it before it got devoured.”

“Oh my goodness… Chef Reeky is a magician!! We’re SO lucky we found this restaurant after taking a tour at Swarthmore College (just a 5 min drive away). Everything we ordered was amazing, and we spent most of the meal feeling like there was no way our food was entirely plant-based… but it was! Order the nachos to share, and I recommend anything that has the marinara sauce on it… it’s 4 hours later and I’m still thinking about that sauce…. The “chicken” parm sandwich with spinach was unreal! Service was excellent, too… what a treat!”

“Traveling thru and stopped for breakfast based on other positive Google Reviews. Food was fantastic, Service was amazing and welcoming, and the other patrons made us feel like old friends. Jackie was outstanding in making sure we were happy and had everything we needed from start to finish. I had the French Toast and my wife had a Roast Beef Sandwich on a super fresh roll. “I've been wanting to try Tanglewood for months. We finally had time to go today and we loved it! The owner was kind and patient while we pursued the menu and asked questions. My partner and I finally decided on sharing a Combo (¼ pulled pork & ¼ brisket, 1 small side-we chose coleslaw, and cornbread), an appetizer of their Asian Sticky Ribs, and a side of their homemade chips.The stars of the meal were definitely the Asian Sticky Ribs. Their cruchy edges and tender meat glazed with that Hosin BBQ sauce will definitely bring us back definitely. 100% get these.Coming in a close 2nd was the brisket. It was so moist and tender. The meat alone was amazing, and we dipped it into the Blue Q (Blueberry Bourbon BBQ sauce), and it went a level beyond.3rd would be the pulled pork. Sometimes, the texture of pulled pork feels like the pork is disintegrating - that was NOT the case here. We were treated to bunches of well smoked pork that was complimented by their Gold n Gritty mustard sauce.The next would be the remulade and other toppings on top of the corn. The flavor there was sooo good. I know we're out of corn season, but I hope fresh corn is used in season because that sauce deserves a nice crisp corn to eat with it. We ate the rest of the sauce with the chips... speaking of...The chips were AMAZING! The perfect crunch, the seasoning was spot on and addictive!The *very* few misses:This may be just a personal preference: the cornbread was soooo good; sweet, with a cake like crumb, but I really needed it to be warmed or at least room temperature. I took it home and heated it up in a pan with some butter, and it was perfection.The slaw and pickles both had good flavor. However, the texture was a Miss. The cabbage in the slaw and the cucumber from the pickle were both soft and had no crunch left them. As these were all sides, I didn't feel like they should affect the 5 stars this place clearly deserves.We can't wait to come back and try the Chipotle Mac & Cheese hot dog and the loaded potato salad!The value was excellent too; great food for an appropriate price.”

“One of the best subs I’ve tried!!! Such a hefty portion, too. Get the cheesesteak! Service was awesome, such friendly staff. The inside is definitely a vintage sub shop feel. And after you get your sub, go down to the Governor Printz park two blocks away to have a picnic and watch the planes from PHL depart. :)”

Nestled behind a home in Swarthmore this adorable little pastry shop fills the whole neighborhood with the smell of croissants, muffins, cupcakes and more. “I'll admit I was not going to give this place a try, litterally road pass it for years. One night a family member one wanted "hotcakes" and bacon and said this place was good. I was hesitant but decided to give it a try. Well let me tell you!!! I AM SOOOOO GLAD I DID!! THEIR FOOD IS SOOO DELICIOUS! I have been to many of the most expensive Steakhouses and upscale restaurants in PA and the surrounding areas/states. Their food is just as TASTY. Try their fresh beef Burgers! Cooked how you like. I did and I'm in love! I was impressed! I now have a new food spot. I would share about the other foods I ate while there too but if I tell you then it won't be enough for me when I go! Lol just know you will not be disappointed. Sorry no pics I gobbled EVERYTHING UP!”

“If you get an opportunity, you must give Monahans a chance. My favorite cheesesteaks, even a chicken cheesesteak with fried onions, sweet peppers, and bacon, it will have you talking to it, lol. There are plenty of spirits to choose from, and the beer is always cold. Some vegetarian options. Delish apps and the app pretzel with their honey mustard is phenomenal. Safe, comfortable, clean, and great people. Non-smoking, but you can on their outdoor patio, which is heated during colder weather. TV's everywhere.”

“Went for the first time on a rainy weeknight. Place was fantastic. Owner was friendly and greeted us. Front counter staff was nice. Ice cream was absolutely delicious. Loved the variety. The setup and decor of the location is fun and inviting. Everyone was happy, plenty of space to sit down and relax. Other treats available as well. Great experience, good location. What's good: - Deserts and pastry's are excellent. - Coffee and barista skills are superior to the other shops in media - styling and layout of the shop is unique, fun, and inviting What needs work : order execution - On two separate visits the quiche was not heated enough and there were cold spots. (They graciously fixed it though) - One time they gave me an oat milk latte instead of a whole milk latte. (Again they fixed it. ) -During yet another visit I waited 10 minutes for a latte...not because they forgot or were busy but because the orders in front of me had to be redone because they were wrong. It's a great place and I hope the owner reads this review to improve the training of the employees.”

“Years ago bought fresh pasta when it was called Springfield Ravioli. Since then another good pasta place opened closer to me(Ridley) so haven't been here in a bit. I was looking for good breakfast sandwich in area. Web search, their name came up multiple times. Got scrapple , egg, cheese & son got red pepper, egg and cheese. Heard coffee was good. The sandwiches were great & quickly made. The coffee was fantastic, among best I've ever had. There were two types, a dark roast and a medium roast called "420". I believe locally roasted.”

“We chose Ariano for a baby shower and our experience was exceptional. From the moment Jamie, our waiter, greeted us until the moment we left we were impressed. Jamie was amazing, accommodating and professional. Ben, another waiter, was equally so. Both made us feel comfortable and welcome. The food was delicious, bountiful, and beautifully served. Timing for the different courses was perfect. As always, the upstairs room proved to be the most lovely space for our event and seated our 34 guests easily.From first inquiry to final details Nicolette, the event manager, was prompt, efficient and helpful and she made our event planning a breeze. Totally five stars for hospitality, food, and atmosphere.”

“Was a fan of the old La Na before it went downhill a little before pandemic lockdown. This is in same location but new management and it seems like they are back to providing really good, fresh Thai food! All the vegetables were vibrant and crisp. The sauces were light and fragrant. The establishment seemed to be cleaned up. They could use a dining room refresh but it does give you the feeling of an authentic Thai restaurant, a lot of deep reds, dark browns and black. Service was fun and pleasant! Can’t wait to go back!”

“My wife brought a pizza home last week. It was the first time she got pizza from this place. We got another pizza last night and it was just as great. Both were excellent. I highly recommend trying this place. You can’t go wrong.”
