The Diet Gourmet is by far the best Kosher place to go and enjoy an amazing lunch! The staff is amazing and so friendly and attentive towards all of their customers, knowing most on a first name basis. If your in the Long Branch area i highly recommend checking this place out, you won’t regret it!!Vegetarian options: Everything here is vegetarian and amazing! I read a couple of 1 Star reviews, but don't believe the people who wrote them are real. I think Google needs to do a better job making sure the people reviewing are for real. I have been eating at the Diet Gourmet since 1990 and it has always been the top lunch spot in the deal area. Professional culinary train chef is hard to find in a lunch place at the shore. The food is outstanding, excellent service and the entire place has been modernized from the dinning room to the kitchen...read full review

how great is it they the original owners of the Diet Gourmet have reopen in the same location in Elberon NJ. The menu is even better than before. They have all their old favorites and a whole bunch of new ones( pizza, flat breads, fish and chip, baked Eggplant) just to name a few.Also they redecorated the whole whole place from and new size to new floors, tables, bathroom repainted in light colors, rebuilt the whole kitchen with new equipment.
