My father discovered this place decades ago and started bringing the fam here. I loved it. Then, I moved to the West Coast. On my first night back, this is where I chose to go. The food is still delish and the place is still laid back, considering the influx of people who act like they were the first to discover this area of NJ. Excellent food. I sampled the Manhattan clam chowder, clams from raw bar and stuffed flounder. All were perfectly done though the chowder could use a few more clams. The flounder was cooked perfectly and the stuffing was moist and delicious. Fat Tire beer on tap for my beverage. Overall a very good experience

Sitting Duck is consistently the best and most fun place to eat in Long Branch. The selection is broad and everything is fresh, fresh, fresh. All seafood preparations are highly recommended. My wife and I came here together for years when on vacation and now that she has passed I come for the delicious food, friendly service and "the taste of a memory".
