“Went here two weeks in a row. Both times, the meal was outstanding. Service Exceptional , and the staff beyond friendly. Considering it's a shore town, they really got their act together. Try the pork chop, it was amazing.”
“Definitely a must go if you are in the AC area. Getting a seat for happy hour is hard but we heard Sunday is the best day as it is every day. It's first come first serve and there can be a line before the open! Seats do turn over 45ish minutes after they open. You can stand and get drinks while you wait.Food was great, we love everything except for the grilled oysters and clams casino. They were good, just wasn't what we were expecting they would be. Tuna tacos were amazing and you definitely need to get the lobster mac and cheese. We want to come back with a reservation but come early for happy hour!”
“My boyfriend took me here to this hidden gem for dinner, and it was beyond exquisite. We started with the smoked salmon appetizer, which both of us claimed don't normally like smoked salmon, however, this was on another level. Then for dinner he had the veal, which melted in his mouth and mine. I ordered the whole bronzino and it didn't disappoint. A side of perfectly roasted vegetables to share, and we were in heaven. The owner/chef came out to personally greet us with his wife, our server, to make sure everything was to our liking, and it most definitely was a fabulous meal hosted by this lovely family and brilliant chef. We'll be back for sure.”
“Cardinal and our server, Ayanna, offered us a very positive experience. The holiday Irish menu for the AC Irish Parade was a delight! Never had a boxty before, but I'm a believer ? Also, a four roses old fashioned is always welcomed to my drink pallet.Looking forward to my next visit!”
“The aesthetic and atmosphere was amazing and the Lamb Chops was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Service was great as well but the main course did take a little while to come out only minor complaint I would have. Overall great experience made the whole tripParking: Not tons of parking but there’s complimentary Valet so it doesn’t matter”
“Went here for lunch with a friend. Neither of us had been here before. The food and coffee was great and it was a nice change of pace. We’ll definitely go back one day. I got a Toasted Marshmallow iced latte and the chicken salad on a croissant. She got an iced Havana cappuccino and the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant. We both loved it!”
“We celebrated our “50th” Anniversary at Chef Vola’s today. The staff could not have been more welcoming. Besides the food being amazing our waiter Anthony literally made our Anniversary special. We will definitely be coming back a lot. This place is “AMAZING”. Real old school Italian.”
“A mld-week lunch in the off season. It was excellent. I had the beef gyro with small Greek salad. The feta cheese in the salad was sooooo delicious and there was plenty of it. The portion of meat on the gyro was incredible and tasty. It was a very filling meal. My husband had the spinach salad with a chicken kabob. Delicious, too. Parking in the rear.”
“Heard about this place from a coworker. Now listen to me when I tell you this IMPORTANT bit of information. This place makes PERFECT pork, and I mean perfect, It wants to fall apart when you have it in the chopsticks and the fat just melts off the meat like the glaze off a warm doughnut. Excellent service and even the restaurant's bathrooms are nice to be in. If you love Japanese food, this place is the best you can find outside of Philly.”
“Came here for St. Patty's day, had the shepherd's pie and the cabbage and corned beef. Everything was great. They had live music and a bagpipe band also came and treated us to a perfomance. We had a great time. The prices weren't bad and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely return if we're in the area.”
“Fantastic food and such a wonderful addition to OC. I have eaten in and ordered take out several times. Everything is absolutely delicious! The Pizza is the best on the island, hands down. The sandwiches are enormous and so good. Try the muffaletta, you'll think you were in New Orleans!”
“The caesar salad was amazing. There was a perfect amount of dressing and everyone was very happy with theirs. The shortrib was also great. It cut apart like butter.”
“Had the Cape May Always Ready on draft. They serve it in a frosted glass, my god that was good. To eat I had the gochujang chicken sandwich, which was great. The fries are the best fries I’ve ever had. The bar tenders are very friendly as well.”
“I made a stop here before leaving Ac and it was a good choice. My choices were good. Prices were great and the food filling. If you’re in the area and need a place to eat I recommend this stop.”
“The restaurant is super clean, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. The food is tasty, especially the delicious pho soup (I gobbled it all up….)!! Additionally, I tried a dessert (tofu with coconut cream?) that I did not see on the menu, and it was fantastic. I'll definitely be coming back!!”
“My husband brought me here for a dinner that I will never forget. The waitstaff was wonderful and the food was amazing. I ordered the crab imperial and cream of crab bisque which is always perfect. And my husband insisted on a slice of cherry cheesecake to go since I was so full and he knew it is my favorite.I definitely recommend to anyone who is in the area to eat at the CrabTrap because it’s always worth the wait and the drive.”
“We took my daughter for her 21st birthday because we are such Hells kitchen fans. It was like walking into the TV show and the open kitchen concept was wonderful. They even had the red team side and the blue team side of the kitchen. Chia was our server and she was awesome ,very knowledgeable, very helpful, very friendly and very efficient. The food, although I felt was pretty pricey, was excellent. You're actually paying for the experience. The cocktails were also very nice. I had the dinner with the wine pairings which was perfect. They brought my daughter her sticky toffee pudding with a candle in it and sang happy birthday. We couldn't have asked for a better night. ”
“Very friendly service with a welcoming atmosphere. The iced French toast latte with cold foam is the most delicious iced coffee drink that I have ever tried. It was even better than Starbucks hands down. If you're ever in AC, please try this place. Good food, good coffee and good service 10/10.”
“From start to finish one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Alex our server was terrific and made our experience even more pleasurable. The food was incredible. The ribeye was the best steak I’ve ever eaten. It was like butter. Our apps and drinks were awesome as well. Cannot wait to go ”
“Small local diner with fantastic food. We had breakfast, eggs Benedict for her, eggs, scrapple and hash browns for me and we split a Belgian waffle...More food than we could comfortably stuff down! The waffle was really, really good. Crispy exterior, light, fluffy and creamy center. The Benedict was done to perfection, perfect. The scrapple, I asked for it deep-fried, was perfectly crispy on the outside, eggs over-easy had no running whites...Lots of great photos on the walls! A friendly little hole-in-the-wall that I would definitely hit again! We were in the area and wanted some breakfast, just stopped in and we're glad we did. Thanks Gary!”
“Second visit only because there aren’t any locations near me, but whenever I’m in Atlantic County, I’m trying to get here! Clean atmosphere, polite workers and quick service. Only drawback today was they were out of coffee and I wanted a cold brew sooooo bad!? it was 7:30 and they were closing at 8 so ??♀️ but I wouldn’t hold that against them…”
“Just left from a first time visit. Y’all have to go. The location is quaint and the coffee house itself gives feelings of easy and inclusive camaraderie. We went during what turned out to be a busy spring break afternoon. The coffee house was bustling with a full house and full staff. We were greeted immediately and the wait was short. The menu was comprehensive and chock full of ingenious craft lattes which, as a bartender, I appreciate and admire. They even had decaf espresso ( I am eternally grateful)! The menu is giving everyday brunch vibes, which I love. For coffee, we ordered a chocolate peanut butter latte & a toffee nut latte. Both were delicious, but I have to say, my chocolate pb latte came out on top (BIG fan). For food, we ordered a breakfast burrito and a blueberry & brie grilled cheese. Both delicious. Topping it off, we got a grilled French toast muffin that I could eat every day.Apart from the food, the staff was amazing. From the cashier to the baristas to the servers everyone was super kind and cheerful. We were separately welcomed by what seemed to be two owners or an owner and a manager. I regret not asking. Regardless, they were both so attentive, curious of us and genuinely happy to have two new customers.TLDR;Overall, as someone who works in the industry, we had a fantastic experience. The staff was kind and helpful. The superiors were welcoming and interested in their customers. The coffee was superior. The food was great.10/10. We are now regulars.”
“Amazing food, the typical hole in the wall authentic taco experience. Do be warned, they only take cash or Zelle, no credit/debit cards! Stellar food though, very much recommended.”
“This place was amazing! From the service, the quality of the food, and the prices, it’s definitely worth the hype! I came back a second time during my trip to Atlantic City for breakfast because it was so good. 10/10!”
“Went for breakfast this morning and the hostess (young girl long brown hair) was so friendly and welcoming to every guest. When we were leaving my fiancee forget his credit card on the table and she literally chased us down the street yelling my name to make sure we got it back. Food was great too and of course the lattes are the best!”
“It's been 20 years since our last outback experiences. Who better to guide our chain restaurant journey than Chase, the server. He approached us gently knowing our kind was in unfamiliar territory. And let me tell you, he did not come to play. Chase was here to make our outback dreams come true. From heartfelt recommendations to walking a meal in our shoes, we felt great comfort knowing Chase would deliver, quite literally. Our small human felt deep respect from his accommodating speed, including the world's quickest milk to table experience. With storytelling chops and a non-threatening smile, Chase closed the curtains to a standing ovation. Give this man a raise.”
“My wife and I have designated this restaurant as the ONE RESTAURANT we will eat at every time we come to AC. The food is PERFECT, service is A+ and the atmosphere makes you forget you're in or near the casino. Just the ambiance of Ossu. A MUST when visiting. If there was a higher rating than A+ I'd give it. How about A+Heaven-Sent A+Heaven-Sent.”
“We are seniors, Philly foodies, and new to living seasonally here all year round. And I'm a retired chef. The cafe style, all day breakfast/lunch menu is varied, the food was fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and the service friendly and efficient. I had the (really) grilled (really fresh) chicken (breast meat) Caesar sandwich and my husband the burger Florentine. He asked for medium rare. It wasn't, but it was pink. We shared the tasty, crunchy sweet potato fries and finished them off. I had lemonade w/o corn syrup and they kindly checked the label for me to make sure it was. We'll be back. Often.”
“I just had their pep. pizza for first time and it was the best pizza I've ever had! Seriously! I've been all over the country and Italy 4 times and nothing tops Roma's. Too bad it's not open year round. Can't wait until April!!”
“Great Mexican-inspired section for breakfast and brunch. Huevos rancheros and breakfast burrito are good options, and come with a side of fruit as well. The rest of the menu is all-around American food and is tasty. Coffee is a little expensive for drip, but includes free refills. Good place to start your day before getting ready for the beach.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options. Menu describes ingredients so you will need to read through to find them.”
