It is with great pride and joy that I hereby share my true reflections, as it relates to my experience, being a customer at Caribbean Grill.First and foremost, I must make it clear that I am all of 100% a domesticated male, who is extremely happy that I took the time-out to learn the dynamics of being a mature responsible adult, and enduring the painstaking sacrifice of doing things the right and proper way.....If I might say so myself, I do possess exceptional talents in the kitchen, and can turn the simplest of meals in mouth-watering delicacies. That being said, the very first time I visited Caribbean Grill, I purchased a vast array of dishes and decided to have a feast, it was on my birthday, 2023.The result ? I was literally blown away by the iconic authentic representation of the cultural Jamaican dishes?I had purchased Jerk Chicken, Curried Chicken, Brown-Stewed Fish, Oxtail, Ackee and Saltfish, Rice and Peas, Callaloo and Saltfish, Fried Dumplings, and was treated to delicious slices of fried plantains on the side...(I know I must be causing somebody's mouth to be watering just about now...Lol)I also purchased a variety of natural juices, namely Beetroot, Carrot, and other types of "strong-back" punch...?I don't think I need to tell anyone that I had a feast?. The food was truly awesome.I had also purchased Jamaican style Rum Cake (some folks call it "brown cake"), Potato Pudding, and sorrel, considering the fact that my birthday falls into the last and best month of the year...Lol.Nadia and her staff are representing Yard (Jamaica) with high standards, excellent service, and the amazing quality of the food she serves says it all...Since my initial visit and purchases, for me, ALL roads leads to Caribbean Grill, located in Montclair, New Jersey. I now go there every week. The food is truly awesome, and the taste will naturally remind you of "Jamaica", and the fact that, as the Jamaican saying goes, "No Weh Nuh Better Than Yard".Blessed love to one and all..?Nadia, may God continue to bless and keep you, and may you continue to keep the Jamaican flag flying high..?.One Love...?

I tried to place an order the lady was rude and explained nothing to me and just repeated herself twice the very same thing she said the first time instead of explaining herself. People have no respect these days it was going to be my first time ordering from and because of who ever the lady was who answered the phone I decided not to go.

I’ve been in Bloomfield 15 years and I don’t know how I’ve never heard of this restaurant. As a Jamaican nothing is better than a Jamaican restaurant with great food AND great service!!! I had an extremely pleasant experience ordering my food, great experience picking up my food and the food was EXCELLENT!!!! I had the Brown stew snapper ?

I have been craving Caribbean food for the longest and this place came through somewhat. I ordered through Uber Eats so I cannot speak on the service. The food was good, but I really don't like when my meal is mostly rice. At the prices they charge I should be getting a bit more protein, which is the best part. The flavor of the food was authentic but lacking.I ordered 2 beef patties, large ox-tail, large curry goat. The beef patties were good but no great, I was expecting a flakier crust. The ox-tail had too many loose bones making is dangerous to eat at times. The curry goat was again decent.Unfortunately, this place was a miss. I probably will not try again.

Cute low key spot and the food was really good. The lady was so nice and welcoming considering the fact that I came as a last minute walk in . I recommend ! I’d like to also mention that you absolutely get what you pay for, you get a good amount of food in the take out tray . I couldn’t even finish the whole thing, lord how it had me stuffed!

Best ackee and saltfish. I've been looking around for this dish and surprisingly this little gem serves it. Be mindful the wait for ackee and saltfish is 30min but it was worth it.

Only has dinners. No soups and rarely any "food" like yam or callaloo. Sometimes, they have patties, but menu items are often a toss-up, so best to call and place an order before you get there. Nvr has wings or roti available, and for that, I give 3.5 stars.
