Relatively small restaurant, with high-quality Korean fare. We got short ribs and beef bulgogi, which both were served sizzling hot on cast iron griddles. Tasty soup was provided (on the house) with our dumpling appetizer. Both entrees were offered with a specification of spice/heat level from "1" to "5". The "4" was pleasantly spicy and not overwhelming.Would highly recommend visiting but you may want to call in advance for large groups considering their small seating capacity at any moment.

Absolutely the best Korean food I've had in North Jersey. Bibimbap, Japchae, are great. Great service and owners. I recommend to stop allowing BYOB. Sometimes there will be groups of rowdy/poorly-mannered guests who will get really drunk and scream for hours, ruining the atmosphere for others guests, and occupying tables for an inconsiderate amount of time.

Food - Delicious! Bibimbap was delightful. Definitely add the sauce that's on the table like the owner recommends. Service - quick, attentive, kind, caring. Treat customers like family. Ambiance - close seating if you're a couple near the back. Tables are very close together (1 foot apart?). Makes for not toooo much privacy or space but not a huge deal! Just something to be aware of. Pretty crowded on a Friday night. Glad we had reservations!

Loved the Tofu soup though ‘medium spice’ was spicy enough. Dumplings were tasty but a bit oily. Will visit again to try other dishes.

I love the owner of Koreander. He's so friendly and funny. Koreander has a small interior but the walls are covered in photos which is very sweet. My friend and I were itching for Korean BBQ and Koreander did not disappoint. I had the bulgogi spicy, level 4 to be exact. It was spicy but still flavorful. Before our meal, they brought out small plates including kimchi and they also gave us delicious soup. My friend got the galbi which he enjoyed and the Koreander iced tea which he really enjoyed.

Saturday night dinner. Delicious. Perhaps a dozen tables. Popular take-out.Kid-friendliness: There were elementary school-age children there, happily eating.

If you’re Korean, prepare to be disappointed. If you’ve never had Korean food and this is your experience, do yourself a favor and go into the city to try authentic Korean.

Great food! Every dish we had there has been delicious. It's a small spot, nothing fancy but the owner is super nice. Parking can be challenging.

Large portions, excellent and speedy service. Delicious sushi, udon and everything else. Delicious bibimbap, pretty good bubble tea. Not the best atmosphere, very bright and spare.

Bang average food. Possibly racist staff. I say racist because me and my wife(both Indian immigrants) were given such a cold and almost hostile service whereas the other white/american customers were greeted politely and in a very friendly manner. And one of the wait staff just stands there awkwardly while we eat which is so weird. And honestly if you've ever had Korean food from Fort Lee or NYC this will taste so so poor.

Staff is super friendly and attentive! Enjoyed the complimentary soup and we enjoyed our pork belly rice in our stone bowls. It's located a little bit away from the main area of town, but still street parking available nearby. It's a small-ish restaurant, but still filled up on a weekday night. Prices were a little higher than expected, but food was good and service was good!
