I am glad I saw their delivery van when I was driving by. I did a Uturn and hoped I stumbled on a yummy bakery. This place is gem. Small space for dining in so I decided to order a cappuccino and almond croissant to go and drive to a nearby park. I also got a container of their poppyseed hamantaschen cookies. Everything was top notch and delicious. Service was quick and friendly. First authentic croissant I have had in recent memory. I really appreciate that the baked goods were flavorful and not sugary. Perfect.

This was first time at Marcel, along with my husband, my friend and my friend's cousin (first time for all of us). The food was amazingly good. We were there at 12:30 on a Sunday before going to Montclair State to see a wonderful new opera, Blind Injustice. Marcel was a great start to a wonderful and meaningful day. Terrific shakshouka (apologize for mis-spelling), fantastic omelette (I asked for egg whites only and it was one of the best egg whites only omelette I have ever had), the fluffiest pita, and delicious coffee too. I ended up buying some T-shirts and the most comfortable woolly cap I have ever worn. Highly recommended.

I was on a stroll on Valley Rd, and was quite hungry. The atmosphere of Marcel's Bakery was so alluring that I had to go in! The young man with the shaggy haircut in the front gave such excellent customer service, definitely made an impression on me. My food was absolutely delish! The fries was perfect and it was like the flavors were flooding into my mouth!!! Like damn!

Called in my dinner order of chicken Shawarma plate. I wanted extra onions. No problem, it'll be ready in 20 minutes. My food was ready when I arrived. I had to grab pita chips and hummus. My Shawarma was salty. I've eaten here before and this was a first. My next visit, I'm getting my go to salad and Chicken Schnitzel. Paid street parking Small dining area.
