Used to come to this place all the time when they had their location on Glenridge. Visited their new location off of Valley thinking same old Mish Mish. Oh how wrong I was.Self service, bland, and overpriced. 4 dollar spindrift cans. What an upsetting experience to see a restaurant you used to frequent every week become so very basic and underwhelming.Vegetarian options: Almost too many vegetarian options. Add some meat back to the menu! If you are vegetarian you’ll find something to eat here.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly - but it’s self service so can be busy and you need to grab your own table before you order.

First time here, I cannot describe how delicious the food was. My girlfriend and I had 3 meals, grilled chicken shawarma pita, vegan strong, moroccan vegan meatballs. All 3 items were packed with flavors, and well presented. The interior was nice and definately a spot to go to enjoy a quick bite.

Very good and authentic food.Although the place was packed we got the food pretty fast. The only challenge was finding a place to seat ?

Located inside the Marcel bakery. Small place and gets really busy on weekends. Service is amazing and the shakshuka is a must try!

Wow! Ordered takeout from here and all of the food was delicious. The Chicken Shawarma was flavorful and the veggies/salad served with it was fresh. The eggplant dip and the hummus were fresh and tasty and I enjoyed the pita as well. Will be back to dine in next time.

The cafe is inside Mercel Bakery now. Fantastic bread and food.

Do not order the chicken shawarma for 2. It came with a pre packaged salad. The chicken was very fatty and had a strange after taste. None of it seemed fresh. We only ended up eating the hummus, pita, and cookies.

Great food, laid back vibe. It was a good place to catch up with an old friend. It's called "Marcel" instead of Mishmish Cafe. I was told this was a recent change but same owner.

Run don't walk to Mishmish! Top of the game Israeli style dishes. Innovative, creative, delicious, friendly!

Ordered the Healthy Mess salad last night and got food poisoning. It certainly was a “mess”.Another member of my party had a salad part of their meal and they too are sick.

Just a heads up- it's called something else. Like something bakery I forget. But WOW. That food was amazing! Felt somewhat healthy and fresh. I forgot about pictures the food looked so good. Sorry for the half eaten goodies but everything tasted amazing. I tried the lamb meatball shakshuka for the first time ever, very delicious. This place reminds me of a fancy middle eastern starbucks. It has drinks, to go food but also a sit down area that you can get served the food you order at the cash register. I would definitely go in again with some friends, it's a very casual, nice coffee shop vibe.
