“Love love Stratosphere!! Our favorites are their sours. Atmosphere is great, beertenders are always so cool and awesome. We enjoy coming in to play board games and have some beers. We regularly frequent Stratosphere and can’t say enough about this amazing brewery!”

“We came for a late dinner on the evening of 3/26 and it was our first time there since it changed hands and reopened as South Star diner.We both ordered seafood/pasta dishes and were highly impressed!!! The food and portion sizes were very good, from the Caesar salads to the entrees to the bread basket and to dessert (which we took to go).The diner is very clean and has a welcoming nostalgic charm when you walk in with a beautiful display of various cakes. It looks, smells, and feels like everything a diner should be. We were immediately seated and asked our drink orders, and our main order taken within minutes. Very pleasant and relaxed experience — did not feel rushed like you do at some dining establishments. Overall everything was outstanding without a single complaint.I’d also like to underscore HOW WONDERFUL IT IS TO FINALLY HAVE SOMETHING OPEN 24 HOURS!!!! Thank you! It is a huge treat to the local community and very much appreciated. I sincerely hope it stays this way especially since you’ve earned yourselves 2 regular late night customers :)”

“Wonderful Waitress, Wonderful food, Great atmosphere! As we moved away from the area, we hadnt been here for years, however still as wonderful as ever!! The Fish and Chips were a great size and perfectly crispy, great fries! The Shepherds Pie was delicious! The soups, Seafood chowder and Beef Borscht were so yummy!! The only disappointment we had was that we bought baked goods as we were leaving and in the hustle and bustle of the entrance way, we didnt realize that we were given different brownies than we ordered. We wanted the Green Brownie dessert, I think Grasshopper Brownie Bars, and were given four plain chocolate with frosting. Overall though, we really enjoyed this meal!”

“Glad to see this place open again (even if the name is different). This is one of the very few places I will order oxtails from. The food (especially the jerk chicken) is authentic. You can taste it. Some places just slather on jerk sauce. You can taste the smokiness in the chicken from Best taste. I usually order a mixed meat platter with jerk chicken and oxtails, along with peas and rice, and cabbage. The problem is I may be tempted to over eat the food from the joint. My only cpmplain is that I requested no legs last time I visited the restaurant. When I got home, there was a leg in my take out container. Did I throw it out or give it away? Heck no! This is the first time they made that mistake, so I'll give it a pass. Glad to see the place open again. Keep the good food coming!”

“Amazing cheeses teak and sides. Cheeses teak was traditional Philly style, except that it's served on a round roll - that is not a problem, though... If anything, it's easier to cram into your maw. I had mine traditional style with Wiz and fried onions. The owner of this location was exceptionally friendly, and the service was very good. All the seating is outside so either be prepared for outdoor dining or take it for takeout. Highly recommended for authentic taste. The fries and chicken "donkey tails" are delicious too!”

“Got here the night before my appointment. Appointment was for 5am. I checked in at 4:55. I was given a dock & they started unloading right after I backed in. Done by 6:20 Great place to come to. Overnight parking available as well don’t listen to old reviews.”

“Been coming here for about 2 years now. The pizza is great and so is their sandwich’s. I can’t really find anything to complain about with this place. The food is always ready on time, the service is great, the food is affordable… the list goes on. I have never ordered pickup from this restaurant and it not been ready when they said it would be ready. Even on a Saturday when they are super busy, they still get the food out on time.Parking: There is a parking lot that is free and public behind this restaurant that will never run out of spots. You can also park on the street right in front of the restaurant.”

“My family from.NC came up here for a family emergency, but after we had all settled in, they asked to stop here and get some " subs" ???? we call them 'hoagies" up north . My brother treated them to 2 Giant hoagies and they were elated !”

“Loved this place! Stopped by to try their lunch buffet (you choose... rice, beef , pork, whatever) and it was awesome. I had the rice and beef - a half portion for $5.00 - what a bargain! Unlike many other similar dishes I've had, the beef was really tender. My friend had the Cubano sandwich, which she raved about. The portions are HUGE and the owners/staff are super friendly and accomodating. Downtown Holly is lucky to have this great family owned/operated business. I don't live here, so hope that you'll pay this review forward by giving this small business a try!”
