Arrived and was greeted by the counter/cashier staff member. She took my order promptly. The gentleman preparing my pastrami sandwich confirmed my order since I didn't want any mustard. I had Macaroni Salad and Cole Slaw instead of French Fries. A nice portion of salads and they tasted fresh. An enjoyable sandwich with fresh bread and a nice portion of Pastrami. Irv's seems to be a cross between an old style deli and luncheonette . Breakfast is the usual muffins bagels or eggs with whatever. There is a grill to make corn beef sandwiches but its no where near the New York Corn Beef or Pastrami sandwich that you would get in the old style Jewish Deli's of Manhattans long gone Lower East Side. Corned beef sandwich was good, but not hot as asked for, and portion small. Pastrami sandwich was not good, very fatty, not warm, small portion. Cole slaw and macaroni salad sides were ok. There are much better places in the area. Prices were fair and it was clean.
