Adega Grill is our go-to for special occasions: graduation, birthday, anniversary, etc! The seafood platter is a treat for me and my family of 4! There's enough food for all of us! Tomahawk is a must try, especially to steak lovers out there! Don't forget to order a glass or pitcher of sangria!

This place wow me 1st couple of times, but the last visit was horrible, food wasn't on point, plus they allow drunk people off the street to harrass patrons and bar staff, need some type of host or security to kick out drunk people, not coming back

We had tickets to NJPAC and went for dinner before the symphony. Just as a warning, the menus have prices penciled in and we noticed the prices were almost all double the prices shown online. For example, the Seafood Combo for two is actually $148.00, way more than the online menu price of $75.00. Great restaurant for sure, just serious sticker shock with penciled-in prices on the menu.

[Sadly I had to edit my below, because they changed the bread on their sandwich. The febra and cheese sandwich was served on a soft flavorful Teixeria roll. Now it's served on a toasted bread that takes away from the subtlety of the original sandwich. Also, they no longer offer broa-enough said.]Best febra and cheese sandwich in Ironbound...and the bar maids are great and know their job.

This is our go to restaurant for special occasions. The atmosphere is warm, romantic European. Adega Grill has three distinctive sections: rustic, classic and contemporary. We prefer the original rustic section, which is decorated in brick work, with grape vines, built in wine cellars and a dark warm glow about the room. The service is excellent, attentive, but never rushed. The varied menu is a delight, with generous portions. It is a high end night out and well worth the visit. A perk is the free parking garage specifically for the restaurant, within walking distance, which is a plus in the bustling city of Newark, NJ.

Our 2nd time dining there.Everything was excellent. We had the coal grilled T-bone and the grilled snapper with shrimp and scallops. The T-bone was perfectly grilled, medium-rare, was a large and tender cut and the portion was generous with sides of potatoes, rice, veggies, a grille pepper and onion rings (the only one that wasn't up to par). If ordering the T-bone, skip the appetizer. The grilled snapper was also super tasty, perfectly cut. A nice portion but more on the regular size side.Previously, we had the ribeye and the flank steak, they were also very good but the T-Bone surprisingly is the star there.Service was excellent.3 of us, no appetizers, 2 T-bones, 1 snapper, sodas and iced tea: tab was a reasonable $160 with taxes.

We celebrated my sister's birthday there. The ambience was very nice. From the minute we entered the restaurant everyone was very welcoming. Our waiters were wonderful and the food was great. I will definitely visit again.
