You'll know that the chefs know how to cook, not all these random people selling food here & there.Slightly expensive, but compared to other African restaurants it's just like $2-5 more, so it's totally worth it in my opinion.Can you guys please venture into other things like pepper soup and small chops???I simply can't deal with these other restaurants selling nonsense lol. “Haven't been here in years and the food still tastes just as good as I remember it. Meat is seasoned very well. The rice also has greasy but tasty feel to it , also has some similar seasoning like the meat. Fries are look crunchy but super soft on the bite. Soda was ice cold even without the cup of ice! Very good food very good service plenty of room to sit. Place was super clean and the staff was super nice! 10/10“

“Located right off McCarter Highway in Newark right by South Street. This Manny's is way different than the others I have visited. A big platter is still $8 and empandas are still $2. I ordered stewed chicken with rice & black beans. Chicken was juicy & falling off the bone, rice was cooked well, not over cooked as were the beans. I ate this food for 3 days as the portion size is huge. I will be back...“
