“KANELA is simply the best! Demi and Dina are two of the kindest, most hospitable business owners around. We tried several baked items, including croissants, guava cheese strudel, and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. The guava cheese strudel was so delicious and unique, and the croissants were so fresh and mouth-watering. We highly recommend this cafe for the amazing food, friendly owners, and inviting atmosphere.“

“Service was friendly and good overall. I have always been a frequent flyer to the Kung Fu Tea kingdom and this location will be no exception. My favorite tea is and always has been the Taro milk tea with grass jelly. They have a few board games and it is an inviting vibe. My adult children get everything from Passion Fruit and Green Tea. Sometimes the slushy type of drinks. It's always pretty good and I believe it is up to par with the Montclair location.“

“A very large and reasonably priced bakery that also serves great egg and cheese sandwiches on Portuguese rolls. I also tried the egg custard which were super fresh and not overly sweet. Their coffee was also tasted really fresh and delicious. The ladies at the register don't speak English really well so it may take some time to order your food but service otherwise was fantastic. They also have a ton of seating indoors and was pretty clean. Highly recommend!“

“A must go solely for the French toast - up there with the best I've ever had. The bread was thick, fluffy, soaked with the perfect amount of batter because the inside texture was not soggy nor dry. The mascarpone filling must've melted because it wasn't visible yet the flavor was there and that's what matters! The bread pudding was delish, a creamy sauce on the side as an option would be nice - not necessary! But I love me some sawce.Ambiance and service was perfect for a chill brunch. Good music and warm, inviting decor.** The not so great was a pretty big leak in the bathroom ceiling that required 2 buckets to be placed in the center of the only bathroom. And the blueberry compote on the French toast was cold. Both things are easily corrected and wouldn't deter me from returning or recommending. I absolutely plan to return ! Especially in the warmer months because they have ample outside seating .“

“The lady here knows how to make a fantastic London Fog. It's one of my favorite drinks but almost no one makes them well. I'll be back just for this reason. I also had gotten a few pastries and breads, so far each one I've had was great. The place itself is very cute, and has limited seating if you want to stay there a while. It's well located along commute roads if you are looking for a to go coffee, though I just stopped in to relax.“

“Was at an event at the convention center across the street and desperately needed coffee. Enter PJs coffee. I ordered a cookie dough oatmilk latte and it was everything I needed. Sweet but not sickeningly sweet (I don't like syrup to overtake the taste of the beans). The beans I could tell were good quality and not burnt ----looking at you Dunkin ---which helped make a smooth drink. As for the customer service. The server was nice. Nothing over the top. Just pleasant. Pricing was on par with any other coffee shop.“

“Well first off I’d like to say that I’ve visited many Chinese service food establishments in my time. And without question Moge Tee is one of the finer ones. The restaurant is very clean and organized as it is a new restaurant in Newark. The food is fresh and delicious. My favorite in particular there is the walnut shrimp, a creamy sauce covered over delicious shrimp. I’m generally not a fan of bubble tea but this place has changed my mind with the awesome Crème Brûlée Boba Tea! Great place to eat!“

“Was disappointed to learn that this establishment changed hands. However, I would give it a try. In the past, this was an old school blast from the past with the Nonnas cooking old school classic. The Nonnas are gone, the neighborhood has changed, and so, has the charm that this Cafe had. They've done a nice job, sprucing the place up. A few tweaks here and there..The pork roll/Taylor ham sandwich just isn't the same. I also ordered a chicken cutlet/Mozz/peppers/balsamic for lunch. I haven't tried it yet...Btw Prices have increased a little, but what hasn't.If I'm in the neighborhood, I would stop again but won't go out of my way anymore when I am headed to the airport with time to kill.“

“We fell in love with Pastel de nata when we went to London and tried Cafe de Neda. After returning from the trip, we were on the hunt to find something similar here in the states. Canela bakery comes closest to London's place. Pro: Flaky crust and silky fillingNot too sweetNot eggy at all (unlike Teixeira's bakery)PriceCon:From the outside, the place looks like a bodega and doesn't look like a bakery. I think a little remodeling on the inside would make this place better.“

“After reading my first review regarding the beans being burnt, Robert responded. Very stand- up of him to replace the order with much better roasted beans. You can actually smell coffee. We had the Brazil this morning and the flavor was medium, not acidic, a little nutty. Greatly appreciate a business that stands up to their products and respects their customers. Hard to find these days. Thank you“

It is a fancy, cozy, nice, friendly place. You might think that prices are high but NOPE. Pao de queijo is one of the best that I have tried so far. You can come with your children and have a tea time. Their food is amazingly good. You can breakfast, brunch, lunch and early dinner. Nothing is perfect but this Cafe place has all what you need for a good meeting with family, friends or business partners..“

“Their coffee drinks are nice, with some creative combo. The indian(?) lady is very upbeat and dynamic, wonderful presence.
