Went here for breakfast and we are coming from 35 minutes away just to try their Puerto Rican breakfast and this place did not disappoint what so ever. The food came out fast and hot. We had (which l'II picture) two coffees, oatmeal (avena), ham and cheese sandwich (with the works) and a breakfast platter. This reminded me sooooo much of breakfast from the island. We enjoyed all of it and we will definitely come back out to try lunch & dinner food as well. But we wanted auth pr breakfast and that's exactly what we go. Not many around like this.I wish they would update the restaurant a little bit, it's a bit outdated and it has so much more potential for a nicer ambiance.

Reading these reviews brought tears to my eyes. My family were the original owners and knowing that our good friend Leo is continuing to keep our N.Newark family happy and full is a wonderful feeling. My grandma’s Sancocho will forever live on thanks to you all! Many blessings to the great El Guame and let’s continue to support our locals!
