The Girls are great at service and attentive. the food is as good as always and hasn't changed in ages. .. i usually stop in for lunch or to grab a quick creamy espresso before hitting the road again.
If any restaurant is not deserving of its low Yelp rating it's Madrid & Lisbon. I was planning on only having a drink, but after seeing others served I had to give the food a try. Soooo glad I did, the bacalhau a braz is one of the best I've had in the Ironbound area. Easily more Bacalao than most other local restaurants. Always great food. Staff shows all effort, especially if Spanish is not your strength. The bread is amazing. Calamari were hot and fresh, and the sauce is better than at most restaurants. Vegetables are cooked well. Shish kebabs of shrimp, pork, chorizo and steak is big and tasty. The sangria is very good, red or white.
