Terrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs! My first indication to exit the restaurant was that there was no one in the restaurant, including the restaurant staff that did not eat the food. I have visited this restaurant before in the past and figured I might give it a try again for Friday night. What a mistake! The food was simply disgusting. The smell emanating from my plate was something I had never encountered before. It was nauseating and off-putting, I immediately lost my appetite. To make matters worse, there was a slimy substance oozing from the side of the sushi. It was absolutely repulsive. When the host asked me if everything was okay, I couldn't hold back my disappointment. I told her that the food looked and smelled disgusting. Instead of addressing the issue, she had the audacity to ask me if I had ever eaten sushi before. I took a deep breath, trying to maintain my composure, and replied that the smell alone was enough to make me lose my appetite. Her response was dismissive and unprofessional, implying that I should have tried the food before judging it.Needless to say, we paid for the food and left immediately. This place is a complete disaster and needs to be shut down. I strongly advise against wasting your time and money here. There are far better sushi restaurants in town that actually value their customers and serve quality food. Unfit for human consumption.---

Quality in food and service has definitely diminished. Drinks are never ordered correctly and if you get a cocktail, it’s going to be juice mostly. Food is alright but long wait time.
Went to this place because it looked nice and so did the food. But it was anything but. It was quiet with was nice. Service wasn’t so good as the waitress gave the wrong menu and got mad when me and my family complained. Food wasn’t prepared properly. There’s a bunch more. Only good part was the drinks and the orange served with the bento box

We went on Sunday. There was only 2 people in there seated at the bar. Our food took about 40mins to arrive to the table. We ordered 2 sushi rolls and Steak with Fries. The sushi rolls were great, but the steak and sweet potato fries were not. They had no steak sauce and didn’t provide a steak knife. The waitress tried her best, but felt like she was overwhelmed when 4 more people walked in to sit at the bar. The drinks were ok. It was a blah experience so don’t plan on returning.

Been sitting here for 45 minutes, the waitress is screaming out the top of her lungs chatting with her friend at the bar and has not once come over after she gave me my drink. There is only 2 other people at the restaurant and I must be invisible. So much potential in the restaurant, yet it’s empty for a

Why I won’t go back???Ordered to go food, no ginger, wasabi, or soy. Called the restaurant and the individual who answered said” I was not here so it wasn’t me.” Good food… disappointed with lack of accountability.
Don't know how many countless times I've been here, and never had one bad experience. I took my GF here numerous times, and she loves it as well. I've been there so many times, my only recommendation is to add new items to the menu. I recommend this place to anyone in the area.

We went in for my husband’s birthday on a Sunday when it wasn’t too busy and we really enjoyed our quiet dinner. We didn’t get to try the sushi nonetheless our steak dinner was delicious. Our severer was friendly and very patient with us explaining the menu to us as it was our first time there. Definitely would be returning!!!

Ya know the drinks are short and when they bring something you didn't order, yet argues with you, what's the point. I noticed a Burger King down the street, at least there they don't argue with you and you get it your way.

I was pleasantly surprised to run into this lovely restaurant with outdoor seating on a beautiful Saturday .The waitress recommended the bento boxes- and my shrimp teriyaki with tempura veggies, rice and salad/ drink were amazing! Fresh and delish

I needed a place to try in the Newark area and this came up in my search. I love sushi so I wanted to give it a try. Tried the tower as an app which had mixed fish, avocado, rice and sauces - this was great... which I felt meant the rolls would be promising. Sadly not - tried the crazy roll and spicy girl. Not spicy and nothing crazy about it LOL, I felt the tempura / crunch was stale.. my friend felt the roll was too salty. They also only had less salt soy sauce, I normally like regular soy sauce so I dunno if that also made a difference in my experience. Overall it's an okay sushi place, I wouldn't go back again but they do have great happy hours for those that want to give it a try!
