So I read a review somewhere on the internet where someone said this place was a bit of a hole in the wall, kind of a rough spot, and had some fantastic food. So like...my kind of place. I was able to park right out front (probably illegally, It was definitely a bus stop) and I ordered a breakfast sandwich to go.The people working were all very helpful and friendly. I came here specifically to try the one item out so I had a good idea of what I was getting already. They use Beef Bacon here, and I knew regardless of what I got, that needed to be a part of the meal.Since I was in NJ I knew they'd have good Kaiser rolls, so I went with a beef bacon egg and cheese. It was a $6 sandwich and it was worth every penny. The beef bacon was salty and savory with a lot of nice fat marbling but was cooked hard so it wasn't very chewy. Lots of cheese and some scrambled egg with salt and pepper rounded out a really nice breakfast sandwich.I'd absolutely come back here for sure. Mr. Burgundy's Luncheonette - Didn't Suck!
