I was in the area to make my hair and was really hungry. Saw high reviews on google and decided to try. I got the ofada & ayamase... the taste was average. The ofada was just a lot of oil and ponmo, and the quantity was small...quite unsatisfying.
I once worked in 9ja buka restaurant the owner was very nice always make sure both the soup and food are fresh if there is leftover soup or food they always threw it away she will never allow us to serve previous day soup or food to customers. I started visiting this restaurant about a year ago after trying every Nigerian restaurant in Newark and surrounding towns. My husband has an eclectic palate and so far most restaurants have been a miss. I bought the banga soup with the catfish head and it was soo good, it broke my heart to share it with my husband.
