We ordered catering from North Newark BBQ for a business event, and the food was outstanding. The pork ribs and rotisserie chicken were perfectly cooked and tender, seasoned just right with a flavorful dry rub. We also ordered a seafood platter, which was a big hit! The garlic green sauce paired wonderfully with the freshness of the shellfish. Danny & Cilinha executed my requests flawlessly and delivered everything on time. This tiny little spot has the most delicious ribs. It's a no frills kinda place that hits the mark every single time. Their food is always so good, prices are extremely reasonable & staff is always friendly. Only downside is finding parking can be a challenge, but this place is worth it driving around the block a couple of times.This location is CASH ONLY! :)

This spot is a true hidden gem. One of the co-owners is Daniel and he is the friendliest!!! I honestly felt like I was in a 5 star restaurant. It literally was the little things that made this such a great experience. He held the door open for a customer carrying a lot of bags and who was struggling to open the door, handed us a paper towel after we each used the restroom (also it's a basic bathroom but clean!!), and this was THE icing on top: moved us to the other side of the small room because he said the wind draft would hit us when the door opens. He came over to talk to us because he said it can only be a good or bad thing if customers were quiet when eating the food. Well food was great and he was so friendly and shared a bit of his family's experience and history with food. Food wise we ordered the soup of the day (chicken), garlic shrimp, salmon, and beef rib. Also had some local Portuguese sodas. The salmon truly surprised me because it was crispy and tasty!! He also mentioned it's a BYOB and liquor wine store was across the street. Love this place. RUN don't walk!!!

Owner is nice and friendly. Food seasoned well. They give you a lot of fries and rice for the sides. Meat was on the dry side and the 1/2 chicken was on the smaller side. Wish they can lessen the sides and add on the meat size and quality. Maybe Mondays arent the best days here. 3 stars hoping to improve to 4 or 5 on next visit.
Service was awesome and the food is greater. I loved the pickled veggies in the platter. First time ordering and pleased with the delivery and food quality.

I was so gung ho about having Churrasqueria for dinner. As usual, searched for it with my trusty Yelp app. I decided to try this place, I even have to make a U-turn because it was one of those places that you blink and you miss it kinda place. I ordered half chicken and half ribs & substituted the rice with the black beans with fries. Total was $21. Gave the man $25 for everything. He was polite and friendly. I got home, mouth watering, stomach grumbling for grub...Yes!!!!! I was so dismayed, the chicken was dry and so was the ribs. I know how to cook and have been through many Churrasqueria places that I know the food was at least a day old and was just reheated. I guess I should have heeded my senses when at 5:50pm, I was the only person picking up food from that place and I didn't see anything being cooked on the grill. The fries were so soggy, it will need Viagra. I have been calling the restaurant 10 times now with no response. I guess he knows I will be complaining. NEVER EVER WILL I BE STEPPING FOOT IN THIS PLACE.
