We decided to come here for my birthday dinner after every other place we tried was super crowded with long wait times. I definitely was not disappointed. I had smothered chicken with Mac and cheese and collard greens. My husband had the smothered pork chops with spinach and yams. Everything was on point! The cornbread was so good, I'm sitting here waiting on some to go!!
If you are looking for a spot with great music, drinks, and food this is the place to visit! I loved everything about The House of Soul!! Awesome welcoming and hospitable staff...I will definitely visit again when I'm back in NJ. Seriously no complaints at all from me!

The food and staff always consistent!!! Sunday brunch and banana pudding is my fave. I’m very impressed how the service is especially during these difficult times and patience has to be practice however well worth the wait.
