This is my local fave for authentic Ecuadorian food with Manaba flavor, the coast. I usually order the caldo de bola, plantain soup with peanut butter sauce in short ribs broth. It’s the closest to my mom’s. And the ceviche mixto shown here was spectacular like it’s served at the beach. It’s not fancy but perfect for good food.
I have not seen a better quantity an quality food to price ratio in Bergen and Hudson County. Pre- Pandemic this was in the top 5 of my ???????? families favorite ❤♥???? to eat once a week for their good ?????? lunch specials. The weekend ala carte menu was my favorite in particularly the shrimp "Ceviche" ? and the best dish in my opinion "Llapingacho" . The food always taste fresh, we orders the carne arozz y menestra (lentils) and it was very tasty, tbe encebollado had a lot of tuna which was nice but wish it had a bit more flavor,but still solid.
