“This is the first time I've written a review. And I'm doing it only because the food, service and presentation were exceptional. 17 of us gathered for a family event. We had a dozen plus different dishes (some repeats/multiple orders). Every dish was exceptional. Literally every one. Bursting with rich flavors and great portions. Snails, scallops, salads, onion soup, chicken, pasta, filet of beef, potatoes, vegetables. Six different wonderful desserts, including soufflés. Terrific French cooking. Appetizers, salads, entrees, sides and desserts. Not an ordinary dish among them. One more thing. Unlike so many restaurants today where you can't hear yourself think much less talk to others, this restaurant has been designed to allow patrons to easily communicate with each other, even in a crowded dining room.”
“Amazing experience eating here. Staff was super friendly and hardworking. Bussers were efficient and friendly, Jerry was a great server. Food was amazing, definitely recommend the burger. If you are in the area I would definitely stop by.”
“My family has been dining here since I was in high school, 12+ years. This is a true family business. The food menu is fantastic and the weekly specials are always fresh and delicious. This weekend we hosted a surprise birthday party for my mom. Siobhan was communicative during the whole planning process. She sent us menus, pictures of other party set ups, and recommendations for bakers for the cake. They offer a buffet option but we went with a plated lunch. We were able to select 5 entree selections and our guests ordered what they wanted day of. We chose Sheppards Pie, corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips, chicken francese and penne all vodka. The guests had 5 dessert options to choose from as well. I ate the fish and chips and it was excellent! Siobhan and Sophie waitressed our party of 30 and were patient, organized and caring. Matt was behind the bar and came over to introduce himself when we arrived. He also assisted Siobhan and Sophie with the set up. We brought in an outside cake and they kept it in the freezer until we were ready to have it on display. They cut and served it for us, and boxed up our leftovers. We had a wonderful afternoon thanks to Siobhan and are so grateful to have a restaurant like Brady's in our area!”
“This place is sooo cute!! You can pick your own pastries and they will wrap them to go for you. Counter girl was so friendly individually wrapping our items and the donuts and pastries tastes great. They even had a creme brûlée donut which was so unique and tasty :)”
“We could not be happier with how our evening turned out at Olar Noso.A pretty place located right off of Tappan road, there’s ample parking and not a long wait time around 20:00 to be comfortably seated. The restaurant is spacious, lively but not noisy, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Liv, our server, was on point with giving explanations and suggestions on the entrees. We absolutely loved the Salad: I think it consisted of: shredded ricotta salata, pear, pomegranate, arugula, walnuts, and farro (wheat berries), yum, a perfect symphony of flavors which has become one of my favorite dishes. The three of us ordered to share, we commenced with the Gnocchetti "Little pillows" of goat cheese and ricotta with hand-crushed organic tomato, caramelized eggplant, basil, ricotta salata, we found it to be a perfect combination of flavors with every bite. Next were the pizzas; Soppressata pizza topped withtomato, mozzarella, Soppressata, chili oil and honey (the added honey complimented the chili oil). Next, I was outvoted to try the pistachio pizza.. I’ve never had this in my life and asked Liv (as a fellow foodie) for guidance… with mixed reviews, it was decidedly my least favorite, however, it would be interesting to try it with pistachio nuts in a 60/40 blend (in a Vitamix) with ricotta as a spreadable topping (similar to the way a Nutella pizza is prepared). The food was amazing, you can tell their heart is in courtship with creativity by their constant pursuit to invent new and well balanced entrees (with lots to choose from). It’s great to see the way the restaurant blends locally sourced and seasonal ingredients into new creations bringing the farm to table experience for their patrons to enjoy. I would absolutely recommend this place and look forward to visiting again.”
“Ive had Hangry Joes but in Dubai, and although the menus are somewhat different, the chicken sandwich is consistent. I would definitely put their chicken sandwiches in my top three.”
“My local treat for bubble tea! There are tons of variations you can mix and match to create the drink that is best for you. This location has great service, very prompt and super friendly. There is some seating inside which is good and a parking lot with ample parking.”
“Yogybee in Northvale has become my new go-to spot for shakes and smoothies this spring and summer. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff and the owner was very friendly and helpful. They offer a wide variety of frozen yogurt flavors and toppings, shakes, smoothies, and even wraps and salads! I tried the strawberry banana smoothie and my girlfriend got the “kill me with chocolate” shake (p.s. add Reese’s to the kill me with chocolate you won’t regret it). We were so focused on our drinks we even forgot to take pictures but now we have an excuse to come back again. The perfect choice for a beautiful day like today I’d give the spot 6/5 if I could!”
“Great bread, quality meats. Got the Italian combo . It was well constructed and perfectly seasoned. Highly recommended. $13 . Unfortunately, the owner (a super nice gentleman) has a group of consistently miserable people working for him. Ordering anything, especially asking for no lettuce, you will get an exasperated look , followed by a look of contempt at the end. Sad to see these people have come to work here from wherever they're from and feel entitled enough to treat this man's customers that way. So if you want really good food and a scowl doesn't bother you, try this deli out the food is consistently fresh.”
“Fist time here, stopped at Starbucks at the same plaza and saw it and wanted to try it. Sushi was great better than many other places . I would come here when I'm in the area. Thank you ?”
“Picked up one lamb and one beef souvlaki with fries and galaktobouriko tonight. All were DELICIOUS! Nice that nothing was too salty and no salt onthe fries. Perfect.”
“We’ve been coming here for 10+ years and they never disappoint. The changes throughout the years have been great. Excellent food and family environment. Friendly and attentive staff. We love coming here!”
“One of the only places open on New Year’s Day. Very busy. The limited staff was working very hard to get the food out. Food was worth the wait. Everything tasted great! Food was hot, fresh and flavorful. Will definitely be back again.”
“Five Star ratings across the board may surprise some when a first-timer takes a look at Il Giardino Restaurant... It's a simple setting... more like eating at a friend's home. And this is exactly what makes it great! It's all about the food... the food is fantastic, with a broad variety of standard dishes and surprisingly lengthy list of nightly, and unusual, specials. The service is more about being warm and personal rather than coolly professional. There is a charm at Il Giardino in both its sincere simplicity and welcoming atmosphere. We just had a family birthday dinner there last week and I'm already looking forward to coming back! Two thumbs way, way up!”
“Family owned and ran! Best subs and chicken cutlets. Pizza is good too and they have San Benedetto ice tea which is hard to come by these day. When I’m in town I always stop here for lunch :)”
