“At the moment you arrive in that restaurant team give you an enjoyable feeling. Very warm team, it is a good restaurant to enjoy with your friends or with your date. very good food, creative chef de cuisine, decent cost and professional service. Warmly recommended.“
“Great place for Peruvian food.Parking: No set parking for El Mamut. It's hit or miss on getting a place to park close. Some of the family members parked 2 long blocks away on the Main St. municipal lots. Great restaurant but parking is not good.“
“I went to Rome in October 2023 and I wasn't able to eat the famous Italian panino, as the queue was huge and I didn't have much time. But I took advantage and when I was in NYC 2024 I went to the Times Square store and ate The Odd Couple, wonderful!!!!“
“We stopped in before our NYU tour and were greeted & seated right away! The menu includes pasta, sandwiches, salads, and more! My daughter is a vegetarian and appreciated the vegetarian suggestions on the menu. The food came out quickly and was both fresh and delicious! We would come here again!“
“As a massive fan of quality Italian sandwiches and cuisine, I did all the appropriate research to find the handful of shops my wife and I wanted to try while we were on vacation and this one was at the top of my list. I told myself I would only leave 1 review on this trip and I would only do it if I ate a meal that was truly worth me taking my eyes of the Braves game a few days later. Here we are. (Braves up 1-0 on the Mets btw).My wife and I both had a Chicken parm sandwich with vodka sauce. It was THE BEST SANDWICH I’ve ever had. Nothing more needs to be said. It is the best sandwich I've ever had in my 30 years of life.If you find yourself north of the equator at anytime in your life, do yourself a favor and come get a sandwich here. Buy a plane ticket, take a bus, steal your cousins car, or hitchhike if you have to but make sure you eat a sandwich from this shop during your lifetime. It will be worth it, I promise. Also, to the gentleman at the front in the Retired NY fire department hat… thank you for making my wife and I feel right at home the moment we walked in. I will be back every single time I come to NYC. God bless.“
“Ordered the Italian hero, and they threw in a tuna roll too, absolutely recommend you give it a try, get away from the chain shops and try a real nyc deli! Fair price for a sandwich on the move, the business is 35 year old and lasted for a reason! All the best catch you next time!“
“- If your looking for one of the best burgers you ever had, or just something to stand out from the onslaught of restaurants in Times Square area, Dark Side Of The Moon is the place to visit. Not only is it one the best names in restaurant history, it is one of the best burgers I've had nationwide. What really stood out was their choice of exotic meats. You can choose from alligator sausage, kangaroo, bison, elk, camel and yak burgers and they even have wild boar tacos. The yak burger stood up to their claim that it is the best meat they offer. Never have I had such a flavorful burger. Who knew yak would be so delicious. The owner was not only the host but also the server and worked hard to make the experience memorable. It's always a pleasure to see an owner who cares enough to work the trenches to assure his diners leave happy and satisfied. Will definitely return as there is a plethora of menu options still to try. If you have a chance to stop by and try their burgers I suggest you do just that.“
“Very good place, excellent food, treatment. From the waitresses Ask for Yelissa. An incredible deal, I felt at home!!!!!The best burger. From NJ when you go I recommend ordering some empanadas as a starter called the 3 hits are the Maximum and an oatmeal juice with orange wow. DeliciousThe chimi and the mofongo are the end“
“Had a little hiccup with the computer putting in our order. Something I don’t think happens often, so the wait for food was long, but the waiter made up for it with a great personality and giving us coffee and hash browns. Food was great, really enjoyed a weekday “
“Easily one of the best sandwich shops in JC. I've been through almost everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. My go to these days is the #5, breaded chicken lettuce tomato hot peppers and Chipotle mayo. Can't go wrong with the chicken vodka Parmigiano, one of the best vodka sauces I've ever had!“
“Been hearing about Joe's bar on the Taste Buds podcast. The fam and I were in NYC for vacation and coming here was a great decision. The sandwiches were phenomenal, beer was cold, service was friendly. Definitely worth checking out if you're in NYC!“
“Delicious Rouben sandwich - great proportions of pastrami and sauerkraut. The bread is not an ordinary slice of white bread, but a deliciously toasted and slightly fatty slice. In my and my wife's opinion, one of the best Rouben sandwiches in NY. We will definitely come back at the next opportunity - hopefully as soon as possible.“
“I only discovered Little Grocery recently and I am in love! All of the sandwiches I've ordered so far are amazing, with Thanksgiving on a Roll being my fav so far. The people working there are super sweet. Overall, hands down one of my favorite lunch spots!“
“Friendly service and amazing food. I normally do not like falafel, but I could not stop eating it. Truly delicious food. Tried and loved: falafel, hummus with terpanade, chicken panini, morrocan cigars, cuban grilled cheese, and prosciutto panini.“
“Walked in feeling like total tourist, but the staff behind the counter were really great about running down the menu options. Ended up with the Italian which was a smash hit. The fresh mozzarella is legit. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for an authentic deli experience.“
“I have lived around the area for many years, and never have I tried a better Itlian hero than at Nick's. You are paying for quality - you can tell by the second you take the first bite. A sandwich is as good as the bread, theirs is fresh and perfect. Nick's is a MUST TRY!“
“I was casually walking down rainbow road when Mario, Donkey Kong and Shy guy grabbed me and brought me to this Subway. A guy whose name I think was maneater told me I had to eat 100 cookies or else Donkey Kong would turn me into a banana. I said ok and began this grueling challenge. I started chowing down on the cookies and when I reached the halfway point Machoman told me that the rest of the cookies would be footlong cookies, I said "radical" and continued. I was enjoying the last two cookies when all of a sudden Rick Grimes and superman walked in and blew up Donkey Kong, Mario and Shy guy and told me the walkers were coming and I had to leave. I said goodbye to Magic Mixing Machine and he said that wherever I go I could just reach into my pocket and pull out a free footlong cookie.10/10 would recommend, if you survive the walkers roaming around.“
“They run this ship tighter than the navy. I recommend ordering online and picking up — even with the swarm of Business Bros I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes, if at all. Every sandwich I’ve ever ordered has been great! Prices are standard for that of Dimes Square, maybe slightly lower. I salute the Toasties crew “
“I absolutely loved the Picnic Basket. I stumbled in here while visiting New York and I can't wait to visit again. I had a grilled Halloumi sandwich and the lentil soup they always have. The sandwich was fabulous but I could not stop talking about the soup! The staff was also very friendly and walked me through my order and recommended a special sauce I dipped my chips into. Love Picnic Basket!“
“So I went in undecided, all I knew was how hungry I was at the moment. Told the women behind the counter you make me what you think is the best. Damn she delivered. I had a steak sandwich with lettuce tomato and sum on a warm here roll. It was like a chopped cheese but even better. Great job guys! Ill def be back.“
“I work in CT but placed an order on the phone with them (turned out to be DoorDash). When I called to confirm the lunch order, they didn't have any record of it. But Alexis (Asst GM) assured me that my executive and his team would get their lunch today. She researched my order and had me send all the details I could provide, took my phone number, and called me back several times to ensure we were all set. This was not a huge catering order, but she treated me with the same courtesy as if it were. I want to thank her for all of her assistance. I'm sure the team will enjoy their lunch!!!“
“good location with ample parking space.inside was neat and clean; and the staff were pretty good during our visit.we has the usual philly steak and it was hot and fresh just the way we like it. Add some chips and wewere quite satisfied with such simple butdelicious meal.“
“It was such a refreshing change of pace to break away from the familiar chain restaurants that we can find anywhere and instead, experience what the locals do. Every morning, we made it a point to visit this charming spot for breakfast. The atmosphere was so cool and the food was simply delicious. And then, on our very last day of the trip, I was blown away by the amazing cheesesteak I had. Oh my God, it was incredible! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable dining experience. It's the perfect way to fully immerse yourself in the local culture and flavors.“
“Deliriously delicious shop in the East Village! The sandwich rolls were the best I've tasted in NYC and perfectly toasted. My love and I enjoyed The Hog, a vermicelli and meat salad with the best fish sauce, and a lamb taco. I especially was impressed with the cleanliness and food handling. Go to "about us" to read the interesting story of the two friends/owners who we were so fortunate too meet at Wheelers in Sheepshead Bay.“
“When Claudia is crafting your sandwiches, you can rest assured that they'll be absolutely delightful. This place offers great value, reliability, and speed. Despite their efficiency, the food still retains that comforting homemade taste and feel. I wholeheartedly recommend it with a perfect score of 10/10!“
“Amazing little spot that has excellent service, bagels and coffee! Coming from Canada it’s a joy to pop into places like this and still get amazing food. Going back for a bigger sandwich soon!Update: sausage egg and cheese is amazing. Better than the last one I had somewhere else!“
“Some of the best sandwiches in town. There is a board near the deli area with some listed suggestions, but they’ll basically put whatever you want in a sandwich. There are some interesting pantry style items here, but I wish there was more of this available.Wheelchair accessibility: Sloped entrance to get in. A bit tight with the door set up, but still manageable.“
“Take out always fresh!! I use to go there and I always asked for smoked honey turkey, and they wouldn’t have it, later on in life I started going back and it’s a sign “ honey turkey “, lol thank me with a smoke honey, turkey, and Swiss on wheat bread with everything on it except salt, I want pepper, lettuce, tomatoes, light, mayo, mustard, oregano, light oil and vinegar????“
“We went to Agamies while trying out caterers, we never even went to our second option. They had hot food prepared for lunch so we were able to try his chicken Marsala and chicken Francese. He helped us decide on the menu and quantities so we didn’t have too much or run out. He definitely did not try to over sell us. They delivered it hot and ready to eat. Everybody enjoyed it so much we wish we had more leftovers! You gotta try the francese and the vodka sauce!“
“Est. 1969Layout/atmosphere*Italian deli/specialty store; four tables; four seat wall counter; one TV; daily hot food specialsFood/drink*Aldo (hot sopressata, fresh mozzarella, arugula, sweet roasted red peppers, balsamic vinegar) on seeded hero - Good; some heat from sopressata; balsamic was flavorful*White lasagna (leeks, sausage, béchamel) - really good; creaminess of the cheese; little fat from the sausage“
“this is a unknown hero in Wayne for all kinds of food..!!! I only buy my coldcuts there now and the sandwiches they make are outstanding.. the quality of all their food is fabulous and Andy the owner is so accommadating for catering anything... Go and support this Wayne owned business you will not be disapointed in anything!!!!“
“Great friendly staff, with lots of tasty options for breakfast or lunch and very fair prices. This is my go to sandwich spot since I don't trust many places around this neighborhood. They are clean, fresh and make everything on the spot. The owner really cares about the community and that matters too.“
“This Subway restaurant has the best prices, the best tasting, fresh bread and the crunchiest veggies. The workers are friendly and prepare the food well. The owner is so pleasant and kind. The place is clean and organized. I wouldn’t eat Subway anywhere else.“
“I have been visiting Did Amigos for over 20 years. Highly recommend the flavors in this steak sandwich. Make sure you get cheese and onions. Batido de trigo is also delishious. Cash only local spot.Parking: You can park in the lot above the restaurant for 1 hour , just make sure they stamp your card.“
“Exceptional experience at Jersey Mike's! The customer service was outstanding, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The staff's friendliness and efficiency stood out. Moreover, the food was consistently fresh and delicious. A great place for a satisfying meal with top-notch service.“
“Very cool, eclectic Italian sandwich shop. First, it's tiny but cozy and creatively decorated.... Two tables inside and one outside... I ordered a Italian tuna with arugula, peppers. I asked to remove the chili paste and balsamic (dietary reasons)... That probably pulled a lot of taste away but it was a solid sandwich... Staff was great and seemed to be attentive to the customers... Price wise the sandwich was $18 and the burrata upgrade was $4.. $2 for a water... 2.5% service fee (no clue what / that is).... So $24.60 for a sandwich before tip and tax... I would like to try their meat based sandwiches, mine was good but eve with the chili paste and balsamic, not sure if it would justify the price...“
“Such a cute atmosphere inside, with well-priced and well-portioned sandwiches. We got the chicken parm (bread was phenomenal, chicken delicious and not too oily, great proportion of cheese/sauce as well) and the Ricky which was unlike any other broccoli rabe sandwich I’ve had before (a huge pile of broccoli rabe cooked in a pan with the sausage, really soft semolina bread). The quality of ingredients is amazing, but the folks at Lil Frankie’s Grocery were the best. The chef checked in on us through the window while we were sitting outside and even gave us sodas, which made our day! John was also so hospitable and friendly, we loved chatting with him. Will definitely be back again to try every sandwich on the menu, and will need to come grab a late night grandma slice at some point!“
“I ordered 2 hero platters from here on very short notice and they were able to accommodate my needs quickly. They had great customer service and even offered me a drink on the house as I waited. The meat, veggies, and cheese were very good and tasted incredible fresh. However, I would love to see them explore different bread options for their sandwiches. If they decide to explore different bread option Hero King would definitely get more business from me. So because of the bread id give the food 3/5 and the service is definitely a 5/5 in my opinion.Parking: The block seemed a bit busy when I got there. There’s plenty of space on the side blocks if you aren’t against a bit of walking.“
“Pretty good breakfast sandwich (eggs, cheese, sausage in a roll) but found it a bit pricey (~$8). It seems that a signature sandwich worths more. Saw the orange juice machine making juices and had one since they looked delicious. It was delicious but also pricey (~$7) For a grab'n'go I expected paying a bit less but overall good choice“
“Outstanding sandwiches! Have been here for over 40 years and when you try one of their sandwiches, you will know why.A few seats inside and there are two parks nearby...one a few feet away on Sullivan and the other around the corner on 6th Ave.Great staff.Truly the best in NYC by far.“
“Lovely clean corner deli. Good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plenty of snacks, drinks and whatnot to choose from. Prices are reasonable considering it's location in Hell's Kitchen, ~$7 for a sandwich with chips and pickle, ~$2 for a drink or snack. The staff are friendly and the store itself is clean. They recently rebuilt the front entrance and it looks sharp! They have 3 tables with some chairs, but it's more of a carry-out focused place. Compared to Skyline this place is gold: cheaper and way better customer service. Great for a quick bite and fast becoming one of my favorites for lunch when I'm working in the area“
“It's been my second time in Hudson Grille for breakfast and have enjoyed it both times. Great selection and prices are good. Their regular coffee is good as well. They also do lunch and have a great selection for many different kinds of diets.Dietary restrictions: They have vegetarian and vegan options.“
“I work at food company who sponsors and promotes other food companies and I have to say barney browns one of the best tuna sandwiches I've ever had in my life, Im pescatarian. Delivery super fast, even today I got a wrong sandwich whole new order to me in 15 mins. I was surprised that goes to show you there determation, drive excellent customer service all within 30 mins from closing. Would highly recommend. They got me spoiled I never order sandwich from anywhere else doesn't compare“
“I don't remember the person's name but he was Asian and was really good. He messed the order but it was really nice to go change it. Even the other lady who was taking the order was also really good and recognized the order being wrong. Great customer service.I am sorry I am bad with remembering name.“
“Love this place! Talk about comfort food. Their deli subs and chicken parm is off the hook. Makes you want to try the other sammies but aside from great tasting fresh food you're going to get that 1 on 1 small family experience who take absolute pride in what they do. Support your local small businesses! Almost forgot, best chilli in northeast NJ, mind blowing.“
“A cute French sandwich and coffee shop. It has a few seats indoors and a few outdoor tables, but I was just buying a sandwich to eat at the park. Got a daily special chicken sandwich with blue cheese and mustard, good portion and loved the combination of flavours. Staff are very friendly too, would love to try a caffe au lait next time.“
“I moved into the area recently and have gone to this location multiple times over the last year two years. Honestly, I’m not sure what it is, not sure who is doing what, but everybody who works behind the counter are some of the friendliest people in food service I’ve ever met! They are genuinely sweet people. Seriously, when you go in there, just strike up a little light conversation. They’re so nice! A pleasure! Every single one I’ve ever encountered behind the counter! Good job!! ☺️“
“Very good baked goods but for the price I don't think it's worth it. I paid $7.40 just for a small scone today. Again, it's good but a bit overpriced, considering that many other bakeries I frequent in the area don't charge as much.“
“It's Blimpie's! The BB still a classic NJ favorite that I'll take over any Subway sub. I tried a few others as well. It's always slamming. I also recommend the Hoboken. So glad there's still one Blimpie's near my house.“
