My girlfriend and I have wanted to eat here for a while. I ordered the honey fried chicken with Mac & cheese and candied yams. She ordered the Cajun fish and chips with a side of collard greens. My chicken was phenomenal it was steaming hot when it came out and the breading was cooked to perfection with a drizzle of honey and it wasn’t dry at all . Excellent restaurant. They have a huge menu with a vegan menu also! Quick and polite service from the lady at the front. Amazing food. I have been hoping to find a local soul food vegan restaurant for a long time now, and they came through. We ordered the vegan fried chicken, vegan BBQ chicken, vegan mac and cheese and fresh cut fries. Everything was seasoned to perfection and HUGE portions. Amazing food! It's hard to decide which sides to get.. so get them all. Our favorites sides are the Collard Greens and the Yams! All the chicken is very juicy and cooked to perfection. If you want anything that has to do with chicken and waffles..this is your new favorite place for it guaranteed.
