First time in Point Pleasant actually looking for another breakfast place we Googled, but couldn't find it; instead found this gem! THE BEST Eggs Benedict I ever had! Big muffins toasted well done; poached eggs were perfect; hollandaise on point! It was SO good! Went to return on Monday b4 going home, but theyre closed Mondays...?
The coveted run-down-but-safe feeling is something a place earns, not creates. Love the feeling of the place.The food is cooked PROPERLY!!!1. My toast actually had butter and was still warm.2. The French toast recipe is delicious. Thin white bread, perfectly soaked and grilled, wonderful balance of butter, cinnamon, vanilla and powdered sugar on top.3. We absolutely love John & Elaine’s restaurant as do our children. It’s nice to see a multi-generational family owned and operated restaurant. The team is wonderful and very accommodating with food allergies. We highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Our son (age 4) has severe food allergies. Laura and the team were great!
