“I dunno, the food was good- I love noodles, i love soup. However, the salads were weird- Pickled Lotus Root sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds is NOT a salad, guys. Very pretty but not a salad. Waiters and waitresses were super nice, not too loud and not too quiet (perfect) but THEY DON'T SERVE ALCOHOL so bring yer own, that was the only thing I didn't like about the place. Great location, downstairs from my favourite store in the universe. ?Wheelchair accessibility: If you believe that being pushed down the stairs and smashing through the glass doors counts as wheelchair accessibility, then yeah, they have it.“
“Food is amazing at Godavari. We have been there several times with the friends and family. Neelima who works there is very helpful. From helping us to choose the best dishes in the restaurant her service is excellent. Every time we are there we always look for her. Great work “
“It’s nice ambiance. There are quite some veg options there. I liked pineapple mojito and veg dumplings. They were out of coffees (latte/ cappuccino, etc) which I expected to have as the menu is already small. Overall quality and quantity is good. I had better Thai coconut curry before but it was good too.“
“The food is good, but I never understood, I order 4 chicken ? wings and they gave me only 3 instead of 4. When I called them, the lady told me that she gave me 3 instead of 4 because the 3 are the big ones. After 2 weeks, I ordered 2 orders of chicken ? wings again and should be 8 wings, but instead was only 7 wings and I called them again and she told me the same like the previous older, the wings are big. I just don't understand, but anyway the food is good.“
“Actually there's some printing errors in this Yelp App. No Delivery at all plus only payment towards every food sales are Cash Only ! The Spring Roll with the rice paper wrappings are no longer available and Vietnamese and Malaysian dishes ,are no longer available ! Love their Fried Rice , Lo Mein and etc .“
“A quick go to place for chinese food. They have introduced Seafood boil with 3 different seasoning. The seafood is fresh and seasonings are awesome. My choice is trio seasoning which makes the boil very flavorful. Its a non nonsense, straightforward place with touch less pickup.“
“Went here for dinner. Expansive menu, featuring some incredible food. Pork Belly with Bok Choy was outstanding and I’d highly recommend the Sesame Rice Balls for dessert. Service is timely, although sometimes inattentive. Ambiance is quiet and pretty relaxing. On the whole, would recommend!“
“It was a good portion for the price. I liked the chicken with broccoli, and my nephew enjoys their vegetable udon noodle soup (substituting the mushrooms for tofu at no additional cost which is great). I also ordered a small stir fry udon with veggies which was okay, but a little too greasy. I'd be willing to try other items another time.“
“Traveling for work, had a hankering for some good sushi and found Le Dish on Yelp. The outside is a bit unassuming in a small retail center. The staff greeted me upon entering and seated me promptly. The room was clean, a little too bright, and nicely decorated. The tea, soup, hot mustard and Cowboy Roll was all very tasty and beautifully presented.“
“All I can say is the Chinese Food tastes good to me. Whenever I feel a little under the weather. I order the Hot & Spicy Soup. The soup details mushrooms, onions, celery, carrots and some other veggies that makes it good.Really Spicy but good ?“
“Great place to eat fresh!! I feel that take out portions are much less than when you eat there. They can customize any dish and make them vegetarian. Cannot customize on Uber eatsVegetarian options: They can customize dishes to make them vegetarian. I got dry pepper fried tofu and cauliflower (which almost tasted like the chicken one!)“
“This restaurant was truly fantastic. Went there for lunch and got the salmon bento box. Everything I had from the soup and salad to everything that was inside the box was fantastic, fresh, and generous portions. Definitely definitely recommend this place!“
“Meet the owner Charlie, what a pleasant gentleman. I was extremely happy with the quality of the sushi ?. Nice size portions. Definitely coming back. If anyone is ever looking for A1 quality in sushi. This is your place hands down ??❤️❤️“
“How is it possible after living here for eight years we were never aware of the Szechuan House. Finally, finding a good consistent Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood one that has quite a large menu so I won't get bored quickly . This was our first visit, and the fact that they were willing to make a change to a dish right off the bat and not charge us extra which I was willing to speak volumes about the food preparation. They actually want to make the dish from scratch so it could've been any sauce any vegetables that we wanted . My wife started off with a traditional small wonton soup. I start off with a traditional egg drop soup and we shared two dishes. One was beef in a brown sauce with black mushroom and asparagus, and the other shrimp in a black bean sauce, to which we asked them to do half shrimp and half scallops. Both dishes very fresh really nice flavor. Nice presentation certainly was filling. It's a BYOB and would also helps us is that other Chinese families were enjoying dinner the same time that we were there so it's nice to know that local place is frequented by the residence by the big parking lot and they take credit cards very very sweet staff very caring“
“Went here with my coworkers for a Team outing. We had pork buns, pork soup dumplings, smoked bacon and rice cakes, and Hong Kong wonton soup for appetizers. We ordered and shared double cooked pork, spicy beef, shrimp and lobster sauce, chicken fried rice and sesame ribs. All dinners served promptly and were huge. Everything we order was hot and delicious. I recommend going to Shanghai Bun.“
“A great place for dinner out, in a quiet and relaxing location. The service is outstanding: quick, attentive, and friendly. All of the food that we ordered was both fresh and well prepared- you can even watch your sushi being prepared. Would definitely recommend the Philadelphia Roll or the Dynamite Roll. The Scallion Pancakes were also divine.“
“Several years ago, with an apparent ownership or management change, we had the worst meal and dining experience ever. We had refused to return. Yesterday, having had our 4th of July cookout earlier in the weekend, we decided to give them an opportunity to reclaim past glory. Well, were we surprised. While the dining room was, as we expected, empty of diners for the 4th, a healthy delivery and take-out flow was apparent. We each ordered from the Specials menu featuring hand-made noodles. My Cumin Beef and Won Ton soup was terrific! My wife’s meal, though slightly oily for her taste, was likewise a hit. The apparently well-regarded Sushi bar looked professional and appetizing. Our server listened carefully to our order preferences and all was delivered promptly and correct. There are two menus. One with largely classic Chinese-American usuals and the other with two pages of authentic Chinese variants. Don’t miss the hand-made noodles!“
“Definitely a popular place for the folks who want to enjoy Americanized chinese fare.Very nice front of house staffers. Very accommodating to us even on Christmas evening (we didn’t have a reservation- we suggest doing so!)Cold Sesame noodles were good (a little strong in vinegar). The beef stew with radish was tasty but beef needed more time on the stove. Walnut prawns were good for the whole family. Our toddler loved seeing the drum set and the fish tank“
“I just love there food , tbh at night if your not from the area it looks a bit sketchy but overall it’s safe enough to go get food this might be the cheapest Chinese food in Trenton what ever you need she got it , wraps , tobacco products socks , AirPods etc she got it love this “
“I called last minute due to a reservation at a different restaurant falling through, they were able to seat our party of 15 right away ! Amazing service! All the servers were so kind and attentive and they even stayed open later for us so we could have cake and sing happy birthday!! Not to mention the food was FANTASTIC!!! Could not say more great things about this restaurant!“
“This was my first time having HotPot and it was so delicious. The mild spice was SOOO GOOD! It helped with soothing my throat after losing my voice a bit. This is a must try! The staff are very kind and will give you great honest recommendations. I look forward to coming again. ❤️❤️????“
“Discovered this hidden gem. If you are looking for a unique quality experience with Chinese food this is the an amazing food place. Tried them out two days ago by ordering their Dry Chicken dish. Be careful as it has bones but it was unbelievably delicious, a flavor and texture that was so unique. So the next day we got their liver, fish and a soup. Simply delicious. Could not stop eating. The staff are great but do not speak english and their online menu is also unclear. Its best to get the printed menu. We are so excited to try all their other dishes. Also, it's takeout only.If you are used to regular american-chinese fare then this is not the place for you. If you love to experience exotic flavors then have fun.“
“This is not a dine in restaurant. This is a hole in the wall place and it is a gem! There is one table with four chairs on your left and three "waiting" chairs on your right. No bathroom. I went on a Friday after stopping at two taco places that were closed. I walked in and saw three men who worked construction. I knew immediately the servings would be big.I went on a Friday and ordered my safest go to: chicken with broccoli and white rice. This was during lunch hour and their special includes your choice of white or fried rice PLUS an option of soup OR soda OR egg roll. I chose the wonton soup. The food was so good! The chicken was tender, the broccoli was crisp, the rice nice and fluffy, and the sauce was...perfect. The dish had just the right amount of sauce to mix with the rice. The broccoli to chicken ratio was spot on, not too much chicken, not too much broccoli. I cannot give the honest opinion of the soup because it's still sitting in my fridge. I ate half that dish at noon and I was full until 6PM!I love it so much I went there again this Monday! I ordered the chicken with garlic sauce and white rice plus an egg roll. The egg roll was dryer than I'm used to, but somehow I liked it better like that. The serving was humongous again and the food steaming hot, fresh, and delicious. You can't beat the price for the lunch specials either!!!“
“Update 3/30/23Ordered lunch today with a coworker. Food was delicious again. I love this place.Little place to food is good and great service all the time. Been eating here for years and never got any bad food nor bad service.Update 8-14-22The owner of this place is always looking for good help. He hires them, they stay a few day, gone!! He and his wife are working so hard everyday and yet still the food I'd delicious as always. I always get good fresh vegetables in in dish I order.Wild waiting for your food, you see how fast and hard they work. I give this place not a 5 but a 10!! Please go check them out today. They maybe a small place, but the food I'd always 100% delicious always. If you know people who need to work, go talk to the owner.“
“After our go-to place sold to new owners during covid, we had been struggling trying to find a Chinese spot that actually had good food....then we found Joyful Garden. We have ordered more items than we normally do just to try out different things amd everything has been excellent. The only thing that wasn't a hit with my husband was the honey wings....he didn't care for the sauce on the wings and texture of the wings. Otherwise this place has great food, at great prices. You have to try it out!“
“Had the wonton soup - a meal in a bowl. If this was the best wonton soup I ever had life would be good. But it's not. The hot green tea is awesome. Service was slow. And I think the food benefits from this. I will be back. But I'll phone on my order next time. Am anxious to try dumplings.“
“I really like China Wok. They have friendly and fast service with decent Chinese-American food.I think that they are the best option for the area. Their portions are generous and are generally well priced. Lunch specials are a really good value and you can make substitutions. At times, the food can be a miss.Pros:1. Generous portions2. Friendly and quick service3. Great lunch specials. They do accommodate substitutions with no added charge.4. They are accommodating.Cons:1. Tofu dishes are not offered as combinations or lunch specials.2. Most vegetarian and/or lite dishes not offered as combinations or lunch specials.3. No coupons4. Food, at times, can be a miss. This does not happen often, but enough to mention.“
“I go every Friday and get the Double Pork dish. It is amazing!!! The ingredients are so fresh and it's a lot of food. I'm a big eater and I can't eat it in one sitting. I make two meals out of it. Considering the quality and quantity, the price is a bargain. I will be a lifelong customer.“
“My wife and I recently moved to the area and was scared of trying a new Chinese restaurant. I like to use Beyond Menu app to find restaurants in my area and came across China Garden, It wasn’t my first choice but the other restaurant doesn’t deliver to our area. To my surprise the food is really good! I’m glad I find a restaurant that I enjoy the food. This is actually my 3rd time ordering from here and I’ve only moved to the area June 1st lol. This will definitely be my go to!“
“I thought the food I got was really good. It was very greasy, but that's how I like my Singapore noodles. It was actually spicy when I ordered it spicy. There were a lot of vegetables in the noodles including bamboo shoot, cabbage, peppers, and the meat. I don't know if I actually got extra shrimp in it for the extra $2 because it seemed like a normal amount of shrimp. I guess that's just how restaurants are these days. They cooked it up super quickly. I ordered right when they opened. The people working there seem really nice.“
“hard to find a good american-chinese restaurant that isn’t over priced and tastes bad. first time ordering from Cheng’s and won’t be my last! got the chicken fried rice, perfect amount of chicken, not so much that it’s just straight chicken ??. also the sweet and sour chicken with the sauce on the side, the chicken is super tender! also the breading is nice and crispy and light, not too doughy. the broccoli garlic is classic, not too spicy but still flavorful. we placed a pick up order through the phone and the woman who took our order was very nice and easy to understand. we received everything in our order and it was hot and fresh. if you’re new to the princeton area and want classic comfort chinese food, skip tiger noodles and order from Cheng’s Kitchen????“
“I did an order delivery tonight and it's probably enough for three or four nights. I ordered directly from the store..The delivery came within 30 minutes and the lady I spoke to to make the order was very nice before that. I got some steamed chicken dishes with sauce on the side. I asked for brown rice instead of white rice and it was only a dollar per serving. I also got pork with snow peas and it came perfectly beautifully steamed even though i didn't specify that but it's exactly how I like it. Also lo mein as well. All of this with delivery fee and tip totalled about 60 or $65. And the food tastes just great. I am so happy I ordered from them and this is the second time I did so and had forgotten about them for a while. I rate this as the best Chinese delivery food in the area.Dietary restrictions: They have great steamed dishes with sauce on the side and no added salt or oil.“
“Just have to say, I ordered 25 minutes before closing. The gentleman I spoke with never said anything about closing, I only say that because he was Not upset with my late order. As I walked in his smile greeted me, and he had my order ready for me to pickup and go. The chicken with broccoli was amazing, I also ordered two shrimp rolls, they were amazing as well. I was impressed with the fast friendly service, even though I ordered late and at closing. So if you are hungry late, give China Chef a call, they're sure to please with fast friendly amazing hot food with a smile too.See you soon....“
“Ordered from Uber eats expecting to be greatly disappointed like most of the surrounding Chinese spots. This food is incredible and the closest I’ll ever get to good NY Chinese!! The wings are so good!!!! They have a client now pleased to spend money with them!“
“Small take out only establishment. My go to dish is chicken with mixed vegetables in a brown sauce. It is consistent hot large and delicious. The vegetables are always crispy and I could not be happier. Oh, and did I mention they give you a ton of white meat chicken? Absolutely blows Ya Ya Noodles away! Not close.“
“This is an excellent place if you are looking for decent Chinese take-out on any given day, especially around princeton Junction. The service is extremely nice and your questions about the dishes are answered politely. The food is reasonably priced and has decent quality, at times a bit oily in my opinion, but you can always let them know upfront how you want it. I would recommend this place.“
“The food is Good, better than most chinese take-out but their food is very expensive compared to the rest. They charged me $70 for (L) Pork fried rice, (L) Rib Tips, (L) low mein, chicken wings, (L) Soup and 2L Soda. I’ve ordered the same at several other restaurants for about $55. Definitely overpriced.“
“It was good. However, I didn't realize that I needed to request green onions in my egg drop soup or my fried rice. So I really missed that. The young lady who waited on me was very nice. It was cold that day, and I didn't know I was going to have to wait outside for my food.“
“I always come here to each when I’m craving Chinese food. I’ve been coming here for almost three years now and then never disappoint, always welcome regulars and new customers with a big smile. Definitely recommend this Chinese place for a bite to eat“
“Good food, good prices. Very straight forward. Been eating here for years. They could stand to upgrade the place a bit but I suppose then they'd have to raise the prices so ?. But I'd definitely recommend. I go 2 towns over for their food because no one in my neighborhood can match.“
“This place was really busy, which was a GREAT sign! I tried this restaurant out today for the 1st time and really enjoyed the freshness of the rice and fried Plantains. The pork fried rice was nicely balanced and not salty- just right. The chicken and broccoli was absolutely fresh with a balanced crunch on the veggies and nice chunks of chicken. I also ordered half a fried chicken and a chicken lo-mein for the family and they loved it.There's parking available with about 4 spaces including1 handicap parking spot (awesome). The customer service was actually pretty decent. When you're craving Chinese food, check this place out.“
“1st time hereI was looking for a nice Chinese restaurant around this area for a long time and found this ( my friend recommendedOrdered on lunch spl chongqin chicken with fried rice with hot and sour soupWas delicious and impressed with the taste ?Food was fresh, authentic and tastyRate was very nominalLocation is easily accessibleWill definitely try a different menu again here highly recommend for Chinese food lovers“
“"我喜欢这个中国饭关""I love this Chinese restaurant" I said just that in Mandarin Chinese!(If I misspelled any character, feel free to correct me if you know Mandarin Chinese) The kind woman at the register lets me say phrases in Mandarin to her. Thanks!“
“recently come back for another quick and delicious weeknight meal. The staff there is like family. It made our night when our waitstaff Jolanta greeted us with warm welcome and seems to remember our preference for food perfectly. Thank you for another amazing dining experience Jolanta!!“
