Won't be coming back :/ paid nearly $400 for 3 of us, the waitstaff was very nice but the food wasn't worth nearly what I paid. Rather just go to Gordon Ramsay Steak 100%. The drinks should be way better for nearly $20 a drink.. just overall not bad, but very disappointing. Damn shame.$8.99 for Sparkling water thats more the a beer on tap!?! If you are gonna charge $70-$150 per steak and $20 per drink then it better be beyond good.. & Unfortunately I wasn't even full when I left.. lol

Everything was delicious. Our waiter Pierre was awesome and he made some suggestions and they were fabulous. Tiramusu for 2 , Surf and turf , potatoes au gratin were our choices and all were perfect. Will definitely be back.

Was looking for quick lunch on a busy Sunday. Passing by and saw they had open spots at bar. Ordered lobster wonton, short rib gnocchi, and lamb chops. All were fantastic. This will be our go to when in area.

We had a perfect dining experience for six people. All were happy. All were meat eaters. Bone in filet, dry aged NY strip cooked perfect, just awesome. Apps, sides all very good. Great service throughout. Nice venue. It is expensive, but we knew that going in. We will reserve for special occasions, but will be back and certainly recommend.

Parking: Food was outstanding. We went for our anniversary because we wanted something special. I ordered the NY strip and my husband ordered the Kansas City, and they were both cooked to perfection.Service was excellent, too. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating without being pushy.If you want a special night out, Char is it. Excellent food. Excellent service.

Somewhat on the expensive side but a very fine evening for father and son. Excellent service and quality food in a nice atmosphere. Sat in an upstairs booth which was perfect and fairly quiet. What more can you ask for?

Everything was perfect. All four of us had something different and all meals were delish! Service was amazing! Very attentive. Well paced. They even refolded my napkin when i went to ladies room. Wonderful atmosphere. So much nicer than other chain steakhouses where it's loud and the throw the food at you. This is our new go-to!
Although the restaurant was very crowded and noisy, the service was cheerful, knowledgeable, helpful and speedy. The choice of entrees was varied. Each person in our party chose something different and were very pleased with our choice. The special branzino almondine was especially tasty.

Another fantastic night at char red bank ! Andrew the bartender as always was amazing and not only made our entire group feel welcomed, he had our food out perfectly done and the drinks were perfection! Thank you Char and Andrew for a fun night as always ! Ps. I need Phil's honey mustard for Craig more available :) it's so good !

First time at Char. The rib-eye was magnificent, the "char" was perfect, not over seasoned or loaded with butter. I enjoyed it so much. The side dish was a loaded baked potato, it was amazing, how do you get a potato that huge. Loved it. Service was wonderful. Never had to look for the waitress, she was always right there. The breads were out of this world. The atmosphere was wonderful, we weren't seated on top of the tables around us, plenty of room. I would recommend it to anyone. We had a wonderful time, Thanks

Mixed Feelings about Char. Below are some positives and negatives. Positives- Taste of appetizers and dinner were good. Plenty of options. The specialty cocktails were also nice and they have wide variety of options for drinks. Negatives- Although the taste of the food was good the temperature was inconsistent. Some items were way too hot and others too cold. Next, we waited a long time for our appetizers. We had two drinks each before they even came out. This is a loud place. Please note it was a Friday. We were fine with it but if you are looking for a quiet meal this isn't for you. In terms of service they had about five women standing behind a desk when you go to check in. When I provided my name the young woman just repeated it back, didn't look at me or provide any direction. One of the other ladies took the initiative and walked me upstairs to my table. The table was in a room with a good amount of open seats but we were sat a foot away to a couple that also looked surprised at that decision. The couple even joked that since we were so close we could join them for dinner. Our server was friendly but it just felt like we were being upsold on items when we had already ordered three apps between two people. Lastly, our lamb app was medium-well when we asked for medium rare and only one of our steaks came out cooked to our preference. The other was over cooked. The lobster ravioli app was cold and the escargot was scorching hot. For almost a $400 dollar meal I would have liked more consistency. Tipped over 20% With all this being said I would still go back. The steak that was cooked right tasted great. The apps although inconsistent in temp were very tasty. Looks wise it is a nice place to take a date. The server was a nice guy. It felt like I was being upsold or he actually thought the portion size of the filet and lobster tail wouldn't be large enough. Unfortunately, because the apps took so long we didn't have time to try the dessert. Overall 7/10
