So been here a few times. Everytime I’ve been here it gets better & better.Last night might’ve put it over the top. Took friends who’ve never been before, and they too are hooked!Joe our server was great- Patient & accomodating.We had octopus, oysters, artichoke & meatballs for apps, then for dinner had Ribeye, Filet, Veal Marsala & Chicken Parm. Filet had fresh truffle shaved by the Head Chef at the table.End of the evening, Frankie came over, spent about 20 mins at the table talking to us, then invited us to the Speakeasy for a drink, where he continued to tell us how he got his start which is a great story.We drive from Tom’s River to eat here. This is an all around killer place that we will continue to come to.

The food was great, the service was fantastic, we had Dimitri as our waiter. Even the busy boys were knowledgeable n knew exactly what we were eating. The atmosphere was a loud when we first walk in but fine after. Overall an enjoyable evening. One problem was a service fee for approximately 7.00 that when we called immediately after leaving the restaurant they stated was for using a credit card. Unfortunately we had a gift card n the rest cash. When we told some one on the phone they said oh.

Tried to make a reservation, they want a credit card to make a reservation. I don't want to live in a world where I have to provide a credit card to make a reservation. Will never go here due to this.

Fantastic time there and it didn’t disappoint. . Had an 8:30 reservation and they honored it. Food was delicious, highly recommend the meatballs (and I don’t eat meatballs out ) lol. The vibe was great there was a dj! Overall we had a great time! The cowboy steak is like butter! WouldDefinitely go

The ambience was the only thing that we wish was better - but even that we understand; it just was not what we expected. We thought we were in store for a "luxurious, elegant" dinner as per the website, but it was more like a club in terms of music/volume. It was so loud, we could not converse with each other at all, and I'm sure that's also why the waiter understandably got our side order wrong. We were also delivered another table's appetizer.I'm guessing because it was such a late time and also a Saturday, the restaurant changes it's vibe to suit a different crowd. Again, totally get it, but had we known (if it was mentioned on the website somewhere, for example) we would have planned for an earlier time or a different day - at least for the date we had in mind.Otherwise, everything was great. The food was on point and AMAZING. We had the truffle trio appetizer, Chilean sea bass, scallops, and eventually the brussel sprouts we originally ordered. All were just wonderfully flavorful - so much so that we inhaled everything and I didn't even think to take photos. We are definitely eager to go back, but definitely on a quieter night (Just let us know when that would be!) ;)

This review is specifically about my experience on NYE. I sent it to the restaurant directly with no response, so finally decided to post here. I do recommend this restaurant for a special occasion, but I would avoid on NYE.Not the best Gabriella's experience. The waiter did not let us know about the $150pp minimum spend in the beginning. If he had reminded us, I think we would have ordered a lot differently. He did not let us know until we had asked for the check at the end after being there nearly 2 hours already that we were required to spend over $600 more!!!??? We were ready to leave but instead had to stay and spend basically double what we'd intended. We ended up having to order extra food and drinks we did not want or need to take home with us. Ordered some drinks for friends at an another table because we'd had enough already. Also, we were seated by the windows in the outside patio, a table of 10, but the space heaters around us were very impractical. We were either freezing or sweltering hot, no in-between. It was very drafty. We were left needing to fidget with the temperature and air pressure from the heaters ourselves the entire night. Not exactly an elite experience and for the cost of $1500 minimum for a table of 10...it was really a huge disappointment to not even be a comfortable temperature and have to deal with the heaters ourselves. I wore my coat for most of the night. Kind of ridiculous and a rip off actually. I've been to Gabriella's many times before in the main dining room, and always had a nice experience. Tonight was not that same experience. The food was the highlight - it’s always good and consistent here. The experience overall though was pretty disappointing and felt like a waste of money. I used to recommend this place to everyone and even had some friends change their original NYE plans to join us this night, but I'm now embarrassed about the whole thing. Oh well, live and learn! Next year I’ll just have friends over and order takeout lol.

Fantastic meal. Went on a recommendation by a family member. Was looking for a good place for Italian and steak. Did not disappoint. Front of the house staff was welcoming, server was very attentive. Started with a seafood tower that had a ton of food on it and it was all very fresh. Was eating with some work people and we had (collectively) two different steaks and the chicken parm. I had chicken parm and it was outrageously good. Colleagues raved about the steaks as well. Ended with a great espresso. Cannot recommend this place any more.FYI- I did not pay the bill so I am unsure of the cost factor (boss paid).
