The bacon, egg and cheese was delicious very like one you would get in NYC. I grew up in NYC. They delivered it very quickly.

As much a big fan of New York Delicatessens as I am, I tend to avoid such dramatically dark and completely deserted restaurants. I passed by this place twice - during opening hours - in late Jan. 2022 and looked for breakfast elsewhere, namely around the corner, for a breakfast alternative.

Delicious corned beef sandwiches that come with yummy potato salad and traditional half sour pickles. We love the matzoh ball soup and the old fashioned seltzer bottles. Fast and friendly service. Highly recommended!

My boyfriend ordered a bagel with lox and the bagel had no lox on it. He called and they said, "Do you want us to do anything about it?" It should be their responsibility to do something about it. This is terrible customer service and they offered to remake it, but they are sold out of bagels. We requested a refund because it was an expensive order. They sat him on hold on the phone to refund the money, but they don't know how to refund it and apparently there is no one to show the person how to do. They took his number, but who knows what will happen next. The person said they have no expectations for a phone call back. Terrible would never come back here!

Really didn't care for the food. Hot pastrami & corned beef were both very dry. Potato salad wasn't very good either (dry & not a fan of the flavor), macaroni and cheese didn't have much of a cheese flavor either. The potato knish was surprisingly pretty tasty. Needless to say, we won't be ordering from here again.

So good!!! Got two different sandwiches delivered today through Uber Eats and what a treat it was! We haven't had pastrami and brisket like that since we worked in NYC pre-pandemic :) Do yourself a favor and try it!

This is a Labor of Love ! The Owners Susan and Matt are always there - there is nothing they won't do to make a Customer Happy - like no other food establishment I have ever seen. Run dont walk - I can't think of a place I would rather eat in Red Bank. Nice to see people who love their work!!!!!! Top Notch !

Phenomenally delicious I've had the chicken noodle soup which is very comforting on any given day and really nice to have when feeling under the weather. I also had the Hollywood sandwich which had some great pastrami and turkey. The turkey was nice and moist. Coleslaw was not overwhelming and placed between the meats plus some Russian dressing on rye. It was delivered and not remotely soggy. Nothing worse than soggy bread for a sandwich. But this sandwich was perfect with a pickle and half pickled cucumber on the side Can't wait to order again

Unfortunately Red Bank needed a good Jewish Deli but Shapiro’s just is not up for the job. I have tried it 4 times with same results - suggest drive to Harold’s or Lox Stock & Deli for a much better experience.

Make sure you have two jobs before trying to eat at this establishment. The most outrageous prices I’ve ever seen in a deli. Save your money go someplace else. It’s not that good and it doesn’t even compare to New York.And what’s even more bizarre is all the meats and salads are hidden in the back. This is definitely not a deli. ??????????
