Two words: FRIED ZUCCHINI. It’s a must as an appetizer. Get the pesto cauliflower and use the same sauce for dipping while you’re at it. SO GOOD!In general, my partner and I both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The veggie risotto & panzanella salad were our meals of choice and the portions definitely filled us up.We recommend the Red Bank location (and the Asbury location!) to all ☺️

We possibly shouldn't have expected real quality on St. Patrick's Day - the place was busy.. We had a confirmed 7PM reservation. We were seated at about 7:25PM. Our table wasn't clean when we were taken to it. One of the members of our party pointed this out to the waiter, who then offered our member a wet rag to clean it off himself. So the guests cleaned the table and then returned the rag to the waiter. All of us ordered at about the same time - and two of us ordered the potato soup as an appetizer from the special St. Patrick's Day menu (we couldn't order corned beef since they were out of it). The waiter took our appetizer order and headed to the kitchen with it. He then returned and we gave him our entree orders. About 20 minutes went by and no soup.. finally our waiter came out and told us they'd run out of soup and were making it fresh for us (out of a Campbells can perhaps?) and it would be out shortly. Another 15 minutes and out came two bowls of soup (which was actually quite tasty, but the bowls only had about 3/4" in them. Guess the Campbells quantity wasn't really enough for 2 bowls). While we're eating the soup - the bus-boy arrived at the table with our entrees. Since we were still on our appetisers we just looked at him and asked where he expected to put our entrees. He picked up the tray and walked off with it. Our waiter wandered by and told us he'd bring out the entrees when we were done with the soup. Out of 4 entrees - 3 were served hot (in cast iron pans) and one was COLD when served (banger's and mash..) The cold was sent back to the kitchen where it apparently got the microwave treatment and was brought back out. Quantity was fine. Quality on Shepard's Pie was somewhat lacking. We decided to skip desert. It wasn't a great experience.

Everytime we come here stand up service! Nicole was our waitress she was great and the food was filling good size buffalo salad and soup with cheese rib sandwich tasty! Can't go wrong plus close to count basie so perfect before a show...we park in the white parking lot which is in the middle of everything.

Wow hidden gem. Born and raised in the area of Red Bank but this was first time here. Great "Cheers" like atmosphere. With good food. Service was inviting and friendlyDefinitely will revisit "Robinson Ale House". Thank you for a good time!

I went here this afternoon with a girlfriend. We had the sweetest waiter. He was an older gentleman. Such a refreshing change compared to typical hs students. I had a cheese plate to start and that was soo yummy. Then we had fish tacos and of course a white wine. All was delicious. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming too !!!
