I first tried this food at a festival in Edison New Jersey. They were the best food vendor. I recently visited their store in Roselle New Jersey, and ordered a small ample serving of brown stew, chicken with rice and peas and cabbage $8.49.! I also got a nice slice of carrot cake for dessert -$4.Delicious and affordable.
I am usually a favorite of this place and has bought their food for years, but today the food was not good, the oxtail sauce and/or rice was over seasoned with pepper which made the my food inedible, I also had someone else try it and the same response was given. I reached out to the restaurant explained my concerns and the manager started to quote some of recipe and how spicy it can be. This place looked like it was promising due to the amount of customers I saw going in and out of there. I was fooled. Should have paid attention to the reviews. I ordered oxtails, curry goat and jerk chicken meals and let's just say the only thing they were generous with was their rice which was undercooked. You don't get what you pay for.
