Rutherford is so fortunate to have the terrific Persian cuisine that Kabob on the Cliff serves.Their airy storefront café, very friendly staff, and gentle music always makes us feel welcome. Really nice place. Great atmosphere inside with great food. Strongly recommend the beef kabobs and the lamb shank. Service is pretty fast as well. I believe it’s family run. A few non traditional desert options also available.

We ordered tahdig with gheimeh bademjan which was perfect. Tahdig was awesome. We also ordered koobideh, we liked it, but it was not the best we had in persian restaurants. Service was very good. We asked for more grilled tomato and they added 2 more grilled tomato for no extra charge.
