“Came in on Good Friday around 6:00 for dinner and sat at the bar. We were warmly welcomed and ordered house margaritas, which were perfectly balanced. We also ordered a mezcal flight. The bartender, Eric, was flexible with the choices in the flight. We ordered from the happy hour menu and had guacamole, beef tacos, and beef nachos, which were thankfully not served as a pile of chips. Each chip was layered with the most tender, flavorful beef, a beautiful pickled jalapeno, tomato, and cheese, with a serving of guacamole adorning the center of the plate. The beef tacos were well seasoned and tender, and the salsa verde was fresh and crisp. The best part of our evening was the hospitality. Eric was personable, informative, and attentive. He educated us about the different mezcals and tequilas and gave us some tips and tricks for navigating the city. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit again.“

We took forever trying to find a place that they would all find something to eat at but that place didn't work out so we came here not realizing how lucky we were. Two of the ladies that work there helped us work it out to piece together a meal for them with components they already have. Nothing above and beyond but very nice and friendly. We were greeted at the door and were given a table for two. I like the fact that we were in one of the corners because there was a lot going on.I think the only downside of the experience, which wasn’t the restaurant’s fault, was the drunk 30-something year old white woman who was literally so loud and so drunk she was disturbing everyone. I don’t think she should have kept doing shots of tequila, but I guess to each their own. She was just a problem for everyone and was so loud it kept interrupting our conversation and meal.The food was very good. After looking at many places on Columbus that just didn’t thrill us, we were SO happy to find the incredibly delicious Mexican cuisine at Nina’s last night I had the Cochinita Pibil (with an orange habanero salsa on the side that will let you know who’s boss…) and my old friend had Enchiladas Mole with chicken. Excellent and authentic food with warm, friendly staff, and a great bar selection with many tequilas. Nina’s is great! Reasonable too! The chips and salsa are of course a great feature, but recommend getting the guac as well. Very fresh and great flavor. My shrimp burrito was really, really, REALLY delicious. I was also very hungry, so I got a side of fried plantains, which were very good and hit the spot. The crema you dip them in also goes great across the meal. The tacos and salsas were super fresh and tasty. I love that they didn't try to overcomplicate anything - just extremely delicious food without the need for gastronomics and extra flair.
