Taven Pies....I hadn't had since 1990. Was great. Just right amount of oil..Mussels were great.Trying the veal next week.Seems like it is a family business. Met father first time there then 2 sons next time I went.Not far off Rt 9 so if heading home and stuck in traffic take Ernston road exit. Go right to first traffic light. Make a left then TJs is in the shopping Plaza just past next light on the right. Quick in and out.If this helps please hit the like button.Thanx
Nothing compares to their tavern pie. Went to the south shore of Massachusetts. This is supposedly the home of the tavern pie. Couldn't find it's equal after sampling a few places. Always try to grab a few when we are in New Jersey. Their cauliflower pie is good too.Dietary restrictions: Cauliflower pizza for those on keto or diabetic restrictions.

Tavern pie is outstanding!Edit: I came back years later to update this review because I believe this information shouldn't be squandered by residents of the area. Seriously, the Tavern Pie is the best pizza I've ever had. Full stop. The garlic knot sliders are, also top-tier. However, the most important takeaway here is the Taven Pie is quite possibly the best pizza ever made on the planet. Thank you.
