We stopped into this amazing restaurant by chance, and boy were we happy we did! This home-style cooking warmed my sole! In addition to the amazing food and service, they informed us that they always donate their remaining food to those in need every night ? They had also organized a coat and blanket drive for the homeless and delivered these items personally out on the streets. Please support beautiful businesses like this in our area.
Great business owner, fresh food, phenomenal customer service and out of this world home made rice pudding. This is the spot to go. Portuguese fisherman quality food for a fraction of the price.

Mama Evie’s is absolute fire! Food is DELICIOUS. From the stewed chicken, to the pollo asado , the pernil - omg the pernil was cooked to perfection. The rice - on point. Black beans - bang bang.To top it all off, Mama Evie is super sweet. You can tell she takes pride in her food and her restaurant.
