Where do I begin. Well the wife and I tried this wonderful little gem of a spot for the very first time. When you walk in and get hit with the welcoming smile like you’re walking into your home, you know you have hit the right place. The wonderful smell of the home style food is even better. Celebrated my birthday for lunch a few weeks ago and the food was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was super attentive and very personable. We also appreciated when she confronted the kids who were being loud. Honestly that is the only downside. Since it’s right by a school, the kids go there for lunch but if you came for dinner, I’m sure the experience will be even greater. Delicious and authentic Puerto Rican food. The yellow rice is soft and tasty; it is very well made. The pernil is also very well cooked but does lack a bit of seasoning, it still taste good but I think they cook can add a bit more seasoning to it and it will be PERFECT! I always feel like I am back at home whenever I order from Mis Raices.
