I live a few blocks away from the Popeye's in Teaneck so I visit frequently. It's usually a great experience, but not today. I never was there on a Monday. It was Dec. 5, 2022 11:45am. The chicken strips were not hot as usual, but warmish, and some not well battered either. Smaller portion than usual and so was the macaroni and cheese side, for which there is an additional charge. When you get that "jones" for Louisiana style chicken, this is the place. It can get very busy, and there's a reason for it. Try the spicy chicken sandwich, and their spiced fries. Heck, try everything.

Great location in Teaneck. I work for construction just a few blocks away and this is a great location for me and my crew to get lunch. I usually order online and pick it up, and they have the food ready in a few minutes. The staff seem friendly and the place is clean. The food is also good for the price.
