The place is small, the seating tight, long wait times, not well ventilated and limited parking. It's all worth the experience. I have found some great and not so great izakaya, robata, and yakitori through my travels. They are far and few between. If you search for real japanese yakitori and robata in the NYC area, there are NOT a lot of choices. So when you discover this hidden gem in NJ, don't complain and enjoy your time at Yakitori 39.
