Had a great dinner tonight with my family. Fish and chips were some of the best we’ve had in a while. Randall and Paul, or servers were very attentive, and we never had to wait for anything. Julie, the manager check to make sure everything was fine and, also got refills on our beverages. High recommend this establishment.

Mic drop! X-Garlic Hot Wings-you will not get better. Ticket time a little longer than expected but soooooooo worth the wait! Service was great and there was a good band playing. Great Saturday night out! Also had the poppers as an appetizer and awesome hot delicious fries with our wings.

What a great place! Owners, bartenders and patrons were all so cool. Food and drinks are both delicious and reasonably priced. Wings are fantastic! We will return.

Best place around town for service and wings. I would like to emphasize the service part especially being the bartenders were actually happy to see the patrons unlike other Hamilton bars ( if you are from Hamilton you probably can guess where). Tom and Jules are supreme bartenders and super attentive. I don’t drink but don’t get ignored which also happens at other Hamilton bars ( not cool) . The wings are always yummy and I usually get hot garlic parm ( the way to go). Another tip top favorite treat is the tuna. Best around for a long time and if you see it on the menu, get it. Always delicious. Anyway, tom and Jules are the sh*t and you should go tip them lots of money bc they deserve it. :)

Tom and Jules are the best bar tenders in the area, bar none. Get the Tuna, Cheese Steal Rolls and wings (any sauce, mix them up together!)

I remember this tavern when they were located in cookstown nj. We were there every Friday and Saturday night. Jim and Donna are the sweetest people ever!! I've been in Florida for years now, but still have family in nj. Will definately come see them next time we come up to nj!!

Stopped in after doing some shopping at the mall. We were heading for some Spanish eats, but the now defunct Palermo's hasn't yet reopened as a new Spanish restaurant and hubby apparently knows this place.Small and a little seedy looking on the outside, he wanted me to go inside and decide if I was an okay eating here after I wanted to know what kind of food they served. I'm not picky and actually like neighborhood dive bars now and then. I just couldn't tell from the outside,Crossed the threshold and was greeted by an electronic female voice that told me I was being recorded? Yikes!Went in and found a spot at the U-shaped bar. The female server came right over and asked what I was having. She looked a little surprised when I said, just ice tea and ice water and explained I wasn't drinking because of an upcoming procedure. She smiled and nodded. Hubby showed, assuming the place was okay with me, because I hadn't returned to the parking lot.Not a lot of variety of choices, mostly bar pies, wings, wraps, burgers, fries, salads, appies, and lots of chicken dishes.I opted for a patty melt on rye, and hubby opted for a chicken steak sandwich. Both came with fries. I was asked how I wanted my patty melt which surprised me, because I was expecting something frozen. I asked for medium rare. The food came out pretty quickly and the fries and my sandwich were hot. Surprisingly, my patty melt was medium rare. I don't like rye bread with seeds and this didn't have any. I'll actually pick them out of my bread.Hubby liked his sandwich and I liked mine. The fries were those seasoned fries I like. Portions weren't oversized, which nowadays doesn't bother me; but considering the portion sizes, the food was a little overpriced - which seems to be the norm post pandemic. Places like this usually load the portions... But, oh well...We'll probably be back when we're in the mood for some good dive food and neighborhood ambiance and have a proper drink. The security camera let me know I was still being recorded when I left...!*This pub is charging a 4% surcharge for credit card purchases. It added about $1.45 to the bill. Hubby didn't have cash and I did, but paid with a credit card anyway. The bill showed the cash and the cc amount. My personal feelings about this are not good, especially when I learned that cc fees are a bs tax writeoff. Feels like double dipping and we the customers are paying for the cost of someone else doing business. We were all hit in some way by the pandemic. I'll tip well. I'll overtip even... But I gotta tell bs adopting this practice, customers may pay but they're grumbling about it. I know this for a fact. Hey! Don't lose customers over a buck fifty! Just do your taxes.Total tab, including surcharge, for two ice teas and two sandwiches with fries, plus tip came to $48.
