I miss this place so much. My father use to take me here when I was 10 and i could really experience my culture. I'm 35 now and I haven't had the pleasure of tasting this food. I miss it so much! Mommie Joe was an amazing lady! I love her! Hopefully sometime soon I can go back and relive my childhood!
Food was delicious and that’s what matters but it was very overpriced!All I got was a medium rice and turkey (not enough meat they give u ) & they charged me $15.00…I asked for a menu and they didn’t have one so I had to ask her what kinda food is this and that but her customer service is rude. I ordered the fried pork with black rice. First time getting the platter and I’m chewing on more fat than pork. Not what I had expected. I’d rather wait for food to be properly prepared than get a rush job with food prepped poorly. The white pieces have a thick layer of pork fat. What a shame especially since I gave a tip.
