“Greatest little Italian restaurant on Hylan Blvd. Food- Fantastic, Service- Superb, Ambiance-Amazing...their pre-fixed menus are the best and the prices are absolutely wonderful. I just had my 2nd party there and Robert took care of the set-up over the phone while Chris and his people handled the rest on Sunday March 10th. What was supposed to be a small family dinner for the 4 of us for our daughter's 6th birthday, turned into a small party of 17...they even got us her cake which was delicious, super fresh & super cute. I highly recommend Giuliana's not only for a party but even a night out for dinner with the family if you're not in the mood to cook & clean up afterwards. Our 1st dinner party was August 1st after our wedding at city hall on Richmond Terrace, that was during the week and for 12 people. The price did not match the outstanding service and brilliant mouth watering taste of the food, we could not stop talking about & praising Giuliana's for days afterwards & could not wait to have another gathering there which we did to celebrate our daughters birthday. Ask for Robert...tell him the Calvano's (Michael & Stephen) sent you“
“The other night we went to Sapori for dinner. We walked in and were greeted warmly. The staff here is super friendly and very accommodating. They seated us at our table by a window. The restaurant has a warm, romantic vibe with beautiful art work. We were given menus which is extensive and you have a lot to choose from plus they also had specials. They bring out bread, eggplant caponata and butter. I thought it was really good and different than just the traditional bread and butter option. We decided to go with fried calamari for an app. It was perfect.. Very crunchy, fresh.. lightly seasoned! Served with fresh tomato sauce. A rather large portion to share. Next for dinner I had a special- pistachio encrusted Chilean sea bass with citrus glaze and roasted veggies and potatoes. This was such a delightful dish. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The pistachios were so good on top of the fish and the glaze balanced the dish. The veggies were crunchy and seasoned perfectly with garlic and butter. I really enjoyed this dish. The linguine with white clam sauce. Was fresh and extremely delicious. This dish was packed with clams and a ton of roasted garlic. I must say the pasta dishes are very large. Lastly spaghetti with marinara the sauce was fresh and we really enjoyed it. the spaghetti was more thicker like a bucatini. And unfortunately it was a tad under done. It needed a minute or two in the water to be perfectly al dente. Other than that this was a perfect dinner. For dessert we ordered the chocolate lava cake and tiramisu. It seemed like it was home made. Lava cake tasted amazing it was accompanied by vanilla ice cream. the tiramisu was light and not too sweet. Cappuccino was perfect not bitter or overly milky. By far I really enjoyed Sapori and I would def recommend coming here for dinner. The ambience, staff and food were extremely enjoyable! Parking in street. Small parking lot.“
“The food was very good and the service was great. Love the mini sherbet they brought after the appetizers. The food portions were a nice size. After dinner, they brought us limoncello on the house. The only thing I did not like was that I felt like I was in a wedding hall and not a restaurant.I will be back because I loved what we ate and how the owners were very attentive as well as the waiters.“
“A great find! Love the creative menu and the food continually impresses - whether the seafood, steaks, or traditional Italian. The Bolognese and the Calamari are always on point. The service really stands out, especially Juan and the attentive bus staff.“
“A little bit of a wait so recommend calling order in. But the wait was worth it! Had a daily special sandwich with chicken cutlet with vodka , prosciutto Parma. Was delicious… a lot of food! A half sandwich can be very shareable! Will go back!“
“Patricia’s is always a home run in my book. The food is fabulous. I have been there many times and loved it each time. We feasted on a bunch of appetizers. My all time favorite is the spiedini, a fried cheese brick with the most delicious tomato caper sauce! Just dreamy!! The mussels in white wine sauce never disappoints. The chopped Italian salad is great to share, tasty and refreshing. And you must get the zeppole, they are soGood.“
“I LOVE THIS PIZZA PLACE!! I LOVE THE PIZZA THE FOOD AND THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE!!! I HAD ASMALL PARTY AT MY HOUSE AND ORDERED 9 PIZZAS! ALL WERE DELIVERED HOT AND MY GUESTS LOVED THEM!! THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE TO ORDER PIZZA! IN THE WOODBRIDGE AREA!“
“Recommended to us, which we are glad for - as we would have never walked in on our own. Visited for a late lunch. The entire menu is dynamic and unique. The portion sizes are small by NY standards but were how we really should eat - reminiscent of how it is in Italy. The 17yr old waitress we had was extremely professional, attentive & overall very pleasant. The thing I would comment on is the ambiance (think ice cream shop (way too bright) lighting and diner type furnishings) does not match the high quality of their food.We had one glass of wine, a soda, beef carpaccio appetizer, truffle gnocchi & osso bucco, one dessert & a cup of tea. $160 after tip.Would return to try other entrees for the delicious food & great service. Just not as a romantic dinner or celebration, solely because of the lighting & decor.“
“La Lupa consistently provides an excellent culinary experience. We love their take on nouveau Italian cuisine and the use of outstanding local or Italian imported products is first rate. It is a small restaurant and difficult to get a reservation so be persistent it is worth it. Also be prepared for a vibrant pulse --they enjoy their techno beat which will sometime overwhelm your ability to converse.“
“Mom and Pop owned pizza place. Very sweet couple. Delicious food for a greater price.Kid-friendliness: My kids love coming here. They go at least once a week if not more. It's simple but perfect for me and my family cause we can get loud.“
“First, I must say our server James, was absolutely outstanding! The best! We enjoyed everything we ordered but have to say the Wagyu Short Rib was off the charts fantastic! The best we've ever had! The Charred clams are noteworthy too! To end the night, we had the best Carrot cake, not sure if this was made in house or not but it was the best as well!“
“I ordered stuffed pepperoni garlic knots w/ vodka sauce and a grilled chicken Cesar salad wrap, did not disappoint!!! Food was great and delivered rather quickly. The few times I called for take out, they are always so nice over the phone, as well as the delivery drivers. Thank you Italian Touch for good dinners :)“
“This place is my most reliable stop off for dinner between Brooklyn and union county. I travel this route M-F. I come here often and it never disappoints. I drive past all the Brooklyn hot spots (Gino’s, bamontes and Michaels) and arrive at Casa Verde because of the quality of the Italian food. If you travel this route I highly suggest stopping in if you are hungry for a great meal.“
“I can’t say enough good things about this place. The food is delicious and fresh. Customer service is top notch. We love their daily specials!!Rice balls, banana pudding, porchetta, prosciutto are all amazingsandwiches are big that I always have leftoversCompetitors serve way less for the amount they charge. Quality food like this is WORTH the money.“
“This is a 5 star establishment!! Thank you guys for being here !Parking: Huge parking lot next door. A-little busy during the day but after 5 everyone leaves the office complex next door . But even then he’s got a couple reserved spots for BELOs right next door .“
“Great place to enjoy a nice casual, comfortable, and professional place to eat. I enjoyed the service, and it was B.Y.O.B. I recommend a nice night out with your lady, she's worth it. Take her here, and make sure you can afford it..worth every penny!“
“Slice has quickly become our preferred destination. We appreciate every aspect of this establishment, particularly our support for family-run businesses due to their commitment to quality, consistency, and fair pricing. Frank makes the whole experience a very comfortable environment. Looking forward to visiting again, Frank!“
“We went for my birthday and what a gift it was. The service by Lea was amazing, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The owner kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. And the food, oh the food was outstanding. Their strip steak was absolutely delicious melted in your mouth perfectly cooked and prepared. If you haven’t tried it there yet I absolutely recommend you do.Parking: I found a spot right outside and so did the other 2 cars that came with us. I went on a Wednesday night don’t know if that matters, there’s still plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: They were so patient and kind with my 3 grandchildren.“
“Friendly neighborhood place! I was in town for my son's soccer game and came upon Antonio's. What a pleasant surprise! The super nice man at the deli counter made me an amazing grilled chicken hero with fresh mozzarella and peppers (he recommended). Did not disappoint and was made with fresh ingredients. Will definitely come back again to try their other products when I'm in the area“
“Went here with my aunts and cousin for a family get together - what a pleasant surprise. The food was phenomenal, our server Emma was so sweet and attentive, and we had a wonderful time. They bring their water in from Brooklyn and you can tell - the bread is to die for. The new owners were lovely we wish them the best. We will absolutely be back!!! Thank you for a good night, with great food, family and laughs that were definitely needed. ❤️“
“Awesome place to host a party or event food was great people were great and very nice and hard working too bad u can only give 5 stars. They made us fell like we were the only ones in the whole place. Thanks again guys for my babies 16bday u guys made it “
“Hands down the best deli on the island and it's not even close. The kind of place where they learn your name and treat you like you are their best customer. Have never once been disappointed with the food or the service it is always top notch. You literally cant go wrong here.“
“My second experience was even better than the first ? I was actually looking for a different eatery with similar names. I ended up @ Touch of Italy ??,. And it was the right choice. I ordered the Apple ? salad, which was excellent. Thanks again for the great food and the great conversation ?“
“The layered melanzane was good, but that probably isn't fair since I usually like my eggplant a little thicker. This one was thin so they could layer it. I'm sure the did it perfect because it wasn't watery or anything. It just wasn't my favorite dish from a personal flavors perspective. My friend shared a bite of the Pollo Limone and that was absolutely excellent!“
“We gave it 5 stars as we like down home, mom and pop locally owned Italian restaurants and it did not disappoint as the decor was just how we like it, Homey and Warm.Since our beloved Tuzzio’s in Long Branch closed due to Joe retiring we ventured to Red Bank to the New Corner Italian Restaurant and after passing this establishment for 22 years we stopped in carrying our own Wine….yes it’s BYOB.I ordered the chicken parm with a side salad and spaghetti and my wife ordered Zuppa de Pesci, it was all very flavorful and authentic, we will be back. One last thing Stephanie the waitress was awesome.“
“This place is really one of the best around. I’ve had a few different dinners here and everything has been delicious. The service is always excellent; they’re consistently one of the best. If you haven’t been, it’s worth checking out. We’ve become regulars.“
“My wife, myself and my children have been going to this resturant since we moved to Staten Island in 1984, The food has been great over the years as well as the service, My favorite dish has been the supa de pece and we wood always order the hot antipasto for 2. This has always been our go to resturant all the years we have lived on Staten Island.“
“No one can beat your cheese steaks. I had one yesterday from another restaurant and it was terrible. They used slices of yellow American which were hardly melted.. We ordered other food too , which I wasn't overlall thrilled with. VINNYS Old Bridge going forward 100%.“
“This was our second time at Zoni’s and everything was delicious. We had the coal fired wings which come with a delicious homemade Gorgonzola cheese sauce and the Camilla pizza. The first time we had the Stefano pizza. The staff is so kind, the owner personally came to our table and insisted we try the Margherita pie, he gave us one on the house. Thank you guys! We know we will be coming back soon!“
“The pizza here is so freaking good and it’s not the crazy prices that most places are charging nowadays. Way better than La Madonna down the street & less expensive & the staff are WAY friendlier. I live in jersey city & work in New York and eat pizza way too much and Amano trumps 95% of places I’ve ever tried. Along with the prices and friendly staff, I would go out of my way and drive further to come here any day of the week. I got a spinach artichoke slice, a couple grandma slices, an Italian roll & a buff chicken roll and every bite of all of these were so yummy. I don’t leave reviews often but I really really really like this place. Would suggest.“
“It was my first time going there and I ordered a vodka fresh mozzarella cheese pizza and was one of the best pizzas I've had the service was good the owner was polite I would definitely go back again it's very convenient to get to right off of routeParking: There's plenty located in a strip mall right off of route 79 in morganville very easy access In-N-OutWheelchair accessibility: There is handicap parking right out in front of the place with a ramp right next to go“
“Celebrated a few special occasions here and each time was nothing less than AWESOME! Great atmosphere and they treat each guest like family.Food and drinks are great. Service is excellent and the entertainment is engaging and lots of fun. Great singing!Definitely a great spot for a special celebration or just a great night out!“
“I attended a party at 12 noon in the dining room on Saturday - the appetizers were bountiful, the salad was plentiful, and so fresh! A huge bowl of penne vodka followed !! chicken francaise was tender and delicious, no fork needed. My family and I will definitely be “
“Delicious food, always very fresh & made with love just like home made. Owner John is very friendly and courteous. Our new go to place. Thank you John. You are a great addition to our local community. I highly recommend for everyone to try this restaurant.“
“First time dinning at Piccolino’s and it was a pleasant experience!Serving staff was knowledgeable of the menu, attentive of our needs. Our water glasses were never empty. Our cocktail were excellent! The wine was a good size pour! All of our cocktails, appetizers, main course, coffee and dessert were all packed with great flavors! My pork chop was HUGE accompanied by seasonal vegetables and potatoes.Judging from the empty plates of my fellow guest theirs were delicious too.And as an added bonus they had a cruder singing in the style of Frank Sinatra supper club! He was a bit too loud but had a great voice and played all the classics!First timer but won’t be the last! They get a well deserved 5 ***** Star review!“
“Very fancy dinner place w reasonable prices. My pasta was a 7/10, the sauce was more of just an olive oil sauce with some garlic and salt. The lobster ravioli was a 7/10 , good but came with about 6 small ravioli pieces so it left a lot to be “
“Phone ordering was simple and easy. The person taking the order was knowledgeable and offered to apply day specials to my order even when I didn’t know about it. Payment was processed over the phone with no problems. Pick up was in time and the food was ready and hot as it should be. Aside from all that, it was delicious. We love Big Boy’s Pizza. Thank you.“
“FOOD was the BEST. Excellent kitchen, good menu with a lot of options.SERVICE is GOOD all in all, but a few times, we had to look for our waiter and wait to be taken care of. They were overwhelmed with the number of guests due to what looks like being short (Saturday night). The only COMPLAINT I have is that MUSIC was too LOUD, we couldn't talk, had to scream, and in the end, everyone lost their voices. DJ had a good selection of dance music, but there was NO PLACE TO DANCE. There was hardly any place to walk. DJ didn't give any breaks, just banged all night long, and with no option for dancing, it was unnecessary. Please, have your DJ make short intermission or run music at the lower volume periodically so ppl can talk.“
“A group of friends had a lovely reunion here. We were treated so incredibly well. The food was delicious from the warm bread to the entrees to the very special dessert sampler! Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend. Our second time there and first under the new management. Well done!“
“It was a very busy night but we were able to be seated right away. The waitress was very friendly and realized we were celebrating Ramadan; she made us aware if there was pork in any of the food we were ordering and asked if we would like to customize our choices, if possible. The food was very good and each person who brought anything to our table was very courteous. There were just two moments of not being able to eat while waiting for grated cheese & and for someone so we could ask for salt.We were asked when the food was brought out if we would like grated cheese; but they never came back. The hostess noticed as soon as we started looking around and came over to see if we needed something. She brought grated cheese instantly. We wanted a little salt on the salad, but there was none on the table, and it took a bit before I was able to ask for it.Being it was busy, we assumed they were busy or got distracted. All and all... for as busy as it was, the two moments were not as bad as it could have been and definitely worth choosing to eat there.Highly recommend“
“I'm 2 years late with this review, but hey better late than never! Fig & Vine is my favorite brunch spot on Staten Island, hands down. A cute, cozy little gem on New Dorp Lane. 10000% make sure to make reservations ahead of time for brunch. We go Sundays around 11AM and people start rolling in after us so it gets busy for brunch! Such good vibes and cute ambiance. It does get loud when it's a packed house, so just a heads up for people that do not like that kind of vibe.Drinks, food and staff is an all around A++ in my book.My favorite dishes to order are the mini quiches (2 different options of quiche, but I liked both so I always order 1 of each), the Tea Tower that has fresh fruit, pastries and mini quiches (perfect for up to 4 people), Truffle Fries, Lobster Benny, Breakfast Tacos and Steak N Egg Benny Flatbread. I haven't tried out the rest of the brunch menu, but a lot of my friends have been here and said everything on the menu is delicious! The bottomless sangria and mimosa option is a must, such a good price for bottomless drinks lol. I love bringing friends here -- it's always such a fun time and even better when the food and drinks are so good!I haven't tried the dinner menu out yet, but I sure will be back to try it out soon!“
“I love this place !!! The food is Amazing & the staff & vibe make it a perfect 10+ The owner Salvina makes you feel so welcomed that you feel like you knew her for years .. I can’t wait to go back soon to share their delicious food with family & friends !!!“
“Great fresh food! I had the grilled chicken Cesar salad! My granddaughter and boyfriend had the cheese steak! Everything was so fresh and was awesome! The chicken in the salad was delicious!! We also had the garlic knots!Parking: Large Parking lot on the side of the building!Kid-friendliness: Tables outside to eat. It was a nice day so we sat outside!“
“Came in for a late dinner. There was only one table being served at the time. Water and a basket of warm bread with a bowl of tomato tapas came soon after we sat. I ordered the love martini and my partner ordered some kind of chocolate coffee martini (idr the name). Mine was cute, light, sweet flavor. His was creamy and big coffee flavor. The waitress told us all the specials of the day by memory without breaking a sweat. I asked if they had any gluten free pasta because it's not on the menu. They had penne so I ordered the Bolognese. He ordered the chicken noodle soup special, meatball Parm appetizer, and the margherita pie. The meatball Parm and soup came out first. The meatball Parm comes with three meatballs. I wasn't a huge fan but he liked it. The soup came in a big bowl. The noodles were short thin and straight. There were pieces of potatoes, chicken, and spinach in it. He really enjoyed it. My gluten free penne Bolognese came in the same big bowl as the soup. I could only eat half. Sometimes restaurants over cook gluten free pasta but they didnt. I enjoyed the meat sauce. The margherita pie is good enough one but Max two. It was a thin crust pizza. He liked it. They have a small list of desserts but we couldn't fit anymore food. The waitress checked on us multiple times throughout our meal. My few complaints is there's no parking lot and street parking fills up fast. The restaurant was cold. The appetizers are the same amount as entrees.“
“Best place for pizza in the area. Food is consistently great no matter what you order but specifically their bruschetta slice and vodka slices are out of this world. The people who work there are very kind too and no matter how busy the place is the service is usually pretty fast.“
“Busy little spot. I love the complimentary bread. It came fresh out of the oven. So good. The lasagna didn’t look like the most appetizing dish but it was very good. I liked the flavor. The meatballs were decent. A little bland but my son loved them. The beet salad had more mixed greens than beets. Pet peeve of mine. The branzino was ok. The zeppoles were awesome. Get them with nutella. Service was great and I would come back. Check it out!“
“Absolutely delicious Italian pizza, pasta and entrees! There are so many pizza choices, my favorites were the grilled chicken Caesar salad and the Grandma with a sesame seed crust, soooo yummy! We shared the seafood salad with large shrimp, mussels and tender calamari and the beautiful cold cut platter. The pasta with bolognese was fabulous and so was the chicken francese. They even have gluten free pizza and pasta. Finish with cappuccino and the oh so fresh cannolis and zeppoles. Bring the entire clan as the prices are very reasonable at this wonderful family friendly restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pasta and pizzaKid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly“
“This was our first time there. The place is nice and so was the staff. Our waitress was very good. They give you hot bread when you sit down. I had spaghetti and meatballs. It was good and I loved the meatballs. You get 2 good size ones. My boyfriend had the linguine with white clam sauce. He enjoyed it! We will definitely be going back there again!! Thanks!! Cathy“
“Attended a bridal shower. The room was spacious and well maintained. The staff were very attentive and courteous. Helped to carry gifts in at beginning and assisted walking to car at end. The food was Fabulous!!!The appetizers were served family style and plenty. Lost count of how many plates. Everything was well cooked and tasty“
“This place is fantastic! Our friends just moved to Union Beach and we're kinda sad that we need to make a 45 minute drive to get here! Staff is super nice, food's great and everyone is friendly... Especially Richie! Give it a shot!“
