“All of these for only $45! I consider this more of a fastfood place- very low key but the food was great! The red snapper and tilapia tasted very fresh (was also battered and salted well!). The fish were HUGE (picture did not give it enough justice- I used a dinner plate in this picture for reference).I ordered everything to-go and the guy assisting me packed the food very well that the fish and fries were still crispy when I got home.My only complaint was there's no MENU! It would have been nice to have a list and not just guess and look at the other people eating at the place to figure out what to buy and how to buy from them. From what I observed while waiting for my order, they also serve yucca, tostones and some kind of soup which i would definitely try when I come back next time!Despite that, the people in the kitchen were nice and the service was quick! I will definitely come back again!Btw, they accept both cash and credit card for payment! ?“

Ceviche de Camarones

“Absolutely the best hole in the wall fish market. The service is amazing and the food is made to perfection, depending on how you order it. This is a little hidden off of the known path "Bergenline". However, my family has been going here for two years literally once a week. You are treated like family here, set up your own stuff in the corner, and order the fish just as you like it. The fries are delicious and hot, so is the yucca. Previous reviews complaining on how shrimp or fish is cooked, you must learn how to order your fish here. Because it is literally just as it comes from the ocean! Definitely recommend this place.“

“I enjoy ordering takeout from here all the time. I have even had the pleasure of eating in person here. It is a cute little restaurant where the family who owns it manages the front and cooks. The chef is an older woman who comes out of the kitchen every so often to check on the customers. My dad comes in here often and is greeted as if he is family which is how I discovered this place and honestly it offers an at home feel from how I was greeted with a hug the first time I went with him. Now I recommend all my friends order, or order take out when I have company. My absolute favorites are the bistec a la pobre which consists of a skirt steak, rice, fried egg, French fries, and sweet fried plantains. My second favorite is the lomo salteado which is a Peruvian classic ! Pair it with an Inca cola or chicha morada and you can say you've dabbled in Peruvian cuisine.“
