“I specifically wanted to try this because the reviews are very bipolar, from 5 stars and 1 star.I called a take out order and the lady was very loud and interrupted me when I was spitting out my order that they are located in Westfield on North Ave. She must have said it 3 times and made sure I understood. I think she was concerned my cell # is from the hood.I ordered chicken wing with PFC, chicken and broccoli with PFC, large sesame beef, large spare ribs, wonton soup and hot and sour soup. The lady told me they would need 30 mins and I said okay. I started to head out after 15 mins and the lady calls my cell phone saying my food is ready. I couldn't stop laughing on the drive over.the food is really good for American Chinese food. the ribs were good quality meat compared to other places. the portions is also very good. only gripe about the food is the hot and sour soup was way too thick.I would definitely order from here more. I can ignore the rudeness.“
“hi ok. i'm actually chinese and i know what chinese food vs takeout chinese is. and the number of disgusting comments is making me enraged.i think you guys are forgetting what "chinese takeout food" is supposed to be like. greasy, yummy, and inexpensive.y'all are complaining ab the oil when the prices are at least half of a normal restaurant.if their food is not to your liking and you'd prefer traditional chinese food pop off and go to an actual restaurant ig this is an american restaurant with chinese style food not actual chinese food like orange chicken doesn't even exist in china what're y'all thinking i see in the comments that they're getting orders wrong and i understand that but i work at a restaurant too and sometimes there are a lot of customers?? like gosh sometimes i walk by and i see a whole LINE of people waiting in the shop. one time i came in for a quick meal and i saw a bunch of orders stacked. if you guys don't ask to have your order repeated back then it's on you. phones can be staticky and people can hear the wrong things. at the restaurant i work at i always repeat back the order but ig some people are just really confident at taking people's orders?? idk what they're doing but if they don't repeat ur order just make sure u ask for a repeat idki also saw a comment about complaining about two women exchanging words in chinese like bro yes this is america but it's a chinese takeout restaurant what do you expect and if u think they don't know a single word of english please get out if you're gonna walk into a chinese takeout restaurant what are you expecting??lastly, "disgusting food". 1) i don't even wanna say how racist that is and 2) this isn't actual chinese food. sure i've had their lo mein and general tso's a couple of times and it's nothing like what i usually eat but "atrocious"?? "horrible"?? "couldn't finish it"?? personally i eat chinese takeout food when i'm feeling like absolute s**t and it makes me so. much. better. y'all know that feeling when u binge eat on unhealthy food when ur angry or sad? ever hear of that "just ate 2 quarts of ben and jerry's bc my boyfriend dumped me " cliche?? or when u go to mcdonalds and just shove 10 packs of frech fries in your mouth? do u ever complain ab the oil?? no bc it's mcdonalds and they're SUPPOSED to have a lot of oil. chinese takeout food is exactly like that. sure if u wanna invite ur friends over for some NICE, FANCY, and AUTHENTIC chinese food go right ahead and order from an expensive restaurant don't go saving a few bucks at a chinese TAKEOUT restaurant and expect it to be beautiful and michelin-star worthy.you guys don't even understand what chinese takeout food and yet you guys are still ordering it. sure it's a quick bite like mcdonalds but y'all are expecting MORE and you guys end up putting it all out on the employees. if you come in with your order complaining ab the oil don't blame them blame urself. and if it's the wrong order MAKE SURE that you have the right order before you pay and leave. and MAKE SURE you have all of your takeout bags as large orders tend to be split up into more than one bag.overall, i'm disappointed. i expected to find wonderful comments ab this place yet y'all are treating them like s**t.i hope y'all actually find this comment useful and have a nice day!edit: AND REMEMBER: THE CHEFS KNOW HOW TO MAKE AUTHENTIC CHINESE FOOD. THEY'RE CHINESE, TOO. THEY'RE NOT BAD CHEFS. THEY'RE JUST MIXING CHINESE AND AMERICAN CUISINE.“
“Nai Brother is definitely a hidden treasury. After several days authentic Chinese food hunting in Princeton, I visited Nai Brother Edison today. The pickled fish soup with snakehead fish fillet is absolutely the best!!! And the add-on veggies are super fresh and tasty.Highly recommend this place!!❤️“
“Me and my husband always love to visit new places for lunch and based on the reviews, we decided to try Pink Lotus. So firstly- it has so many vegetarian options which is rare to find in Chinese/ Asian restaurants. We tried their tofu thai basil and Oh my God!! It was heavenly- the char on tofu and vegetables was just delicious!! We also tried Sechuan tofu and veg spring roll and they were also amazing. The customer service was definitely an icing on the cake, we were greeted very warmly by this lady and she was very friendly with us. Our overall experience was just great!! Definitely a must try if you're in the area and want to have Asian cuisine“
“Food was amazing! The service was fast and the staff were super kind! Somebody I think was the owner was super sweet and kept checking in on us! The atmosphere is great, it's a cozy, quiet, little restaurant, perfect for a calm dinner after a long day! We ordered the peking duck and a couple soups, as well as steamed shrimp dumplings. The dumplings were amazing and so were the soups! We got a whole duck for $70, while a bit pricey it was worth every penny! I absolutely adored this restaurant and it will definitely become one of my family's go to Chinese places! Can't reccomend enough!“
“The staff at the restaurant were attentive and knowledgeable. They were more than happy to guide us through the menu, recommending dishes that perfectly complemented our preferences. Their genuine enthusiasm for the cuisine added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal.“
“It was awesome. The wait was only 2 or 3 minutes. Then, when we ordered, the food came out immediately. It was very good, and the sauces tasted great with it. We got boba as well, which was very good. Overall, it's not that expensive with it coming out to 30 dollars per person. Definitely recommend 10 out of 10Kid-friendliness: They had a whole section on the menu for kid friendly foods.“
“This place is on point!!! My husband and I both got the Singapore Mei Fun and it was delicious. Just the right amount of spice and it was delivered on time and it was super HOT!!!! I highly highly recommend this place. Oh, and the delivery driver was extremely friendly.“
“The food was authentic and the taste of the sauces were perfectly balanced. I really enjoyed the beef broccoli and the long shredded beef with peppers. Going to try out some more variety the next time i drop by InshaAllah! I highly recommend it, just keep in mind there dine in (for now) is in Tabaq so you can basically walk in to Tabaq and they will offer the Dragon Palace menu too.“
“I rarely eat Chinese food and I choose this restaurant when I have to eat. When I tasted the food, I was surprised by the taste, which gave me a new understanding of this cuisine. Quick pick up and very kind service. Pricing is very reasonable for the amount of food that you get.“
“I enjoyed my boneless spare rib combo . Food was flavorful. My friend tommy is paying me and my friend Alex chen made the food . I enjoyed it very much . Thankyou Su.Vegetarian options: vegetables food . Very healthy and nutritious .Kid-friendliness: they have games it very challenging . Math riddles for kids .Parking: Lots of parking . Never packed.Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of open space for disabled to move in.Dietary restrictions: Fit for all“
“Me and my son had a chinese craving so we ordered here. Never been before. We shared and it was actually enough for us. We got the chicken lo mein which was sooo good. Not too greasy either, like the right amount of flavor/sauce. Beef with broccoli was also very tasty. They gave a good amount of beef. The broccoli was not soggy at all. Still had great texture. The almond cookies were also tasty. I also felt the price was good since I ordered on Uber eats. Definitely going to order here again.“
“For a Wednesday night the place is almost filled. There was a mixture of tables with large parties and smaller ones of couples. Everyone seems to be returning customers which is a good sign. The five dishes we ordered were well prepared with appetizing taste. While their American menu seem to cover frequently ordered western fare, most of their Chinese dishes are listed separatly and only presented in the Chinese language. Our estimation is that everyone in the restaurant ordered from the traditional Chinese menu instead the one you are handed. Therefore, you may want to bring a Chinese speaking friend if you are interested in what they“
“The store environment is clean and tidy, and dining is comfortable. The service attitude is highly praised and thoughtful, and the dishes are rich in taste and delicious, satisfying the needs of many people. The dishes are fresh, the taste is excellent and so on.“
“My favorite Chinese restaurant. They are able to make food gluten free without compromising flavor and texture. I’ve been ordering from them for years and it’s one of the only Chinese restaurants I’ve wanted to go back to. The general tso’s chicken is my go to with a gluten free sauce.“
“By far the best hot and sour soup. Large sharable plates. Staff was very friendly. My friend had the fried tofu and was also very happy. The vegetable fried was very good although I would have liked to see more vegetables in it. But overall a great experienceDietary restrictions: They are very accommodatingParking: We arrived at around 2 pm and walked a few blocks to restaurant because parking was very limitedWheelchair accessibility: Wide doorways and walkways“
“Delicious twist on fusion food, with standout dishes like the tangy Manchurian. The atmosphere is casual yet inviting, perfect for a laid-back meal. Quick service and generous portions make it a hit. Definitely worth a visit for a taste of something uniquely flavorful!“
“No frills indo-chinese food with great customer service and a friendly host. Food catered to your tastes and cravings. Not a fine dining restaurant but the food definitely reminds you of popular staples from India. A little expensive, but worth a visit.Definitely try the chilli paneer, made with fresh homemade paneer every day. Hakka style noodles with a side of Manchurian gravy is also great.“
“I live in Pennsylvania, but my friends ordered from here and now I'll drive all the way back, 80+ miles one way just to get this food. I've had so many different kinds, but this is the best place I've ever had food from. Obviously, we didn't try everything, but they're so super nice and the dumplings with that sauce omgosh can I please buy that in a bottle?Never usually liked those sauces, but it's banging!!!! I'd put that up against any other sauce. Super sweet and the soup damn I'm so hungry. Overall everything we ordered was the best we've ever had. We're nj and ny born and raised, but this place is legit. You will thank everyone who mentioned it. Best place ever, thank you so much for giving us our new spot. Even though it's that far away. I love your food and how nice and sweet everyone is. More than 5 stars best food and service! Not sure about the atmosphere, but the food is so good it doesn't even matter to me tbh. Thank you Ed and Michele.“
“First time here and brought 20 of my closest family members for Saturday dim sum. We had a really good experience overall. The food, the service and the family friendly atmosphere was great! My family and I have been eating dim sum for many decades and all agreed that Green Lake has dishes we've never had before. The aunties made sure to drop by every couple of minutes to ensure we had everything that we wanted while the waiters made sure our tea pots were always refilled.“
“I don’t normally write google reviews- but my family has been coming to this restaurant for years- and let me tell you it’s some of the best food I’ve ever had. Always perfectly cooked, fast and inexpensive. Sometimes I order twice a week. I’ve been to quite a few other Chinese food places- but no where compares.“
“Tokyo Hibachi in Springfield, NJ, is a really cool place. It’s got a mix of old Japanese style and modern vibes, making it a great spot for any kind of dinner. What’s really great about Tokyo Hibachi is how they stick to kosher food but still make it taste super delicious and authentic, just like traditional Japanese meals. Everything they serve is made with top-notch ingredients, and you can tell they put a lot of effort into making their food both look and taste amazing. The people working at Tokyo Hibachi are super nice and really good at their jobs. They make sure everyone is happy and gets what they need, especially when it comes to special food requirements.Tokyo Hibachi isn’t just a regular restaurant; it’s a place where they really care about keeping kosher while serving fantastic Japanese food. It’s a must-visit spot in Springfield, whether you live there or are just passing through.“
“Parking: There's little parking space on the street, but it's free and it's there. Though there's a time limit. Don't park in the street spaces if you are a student with a registered car, they will fine you for being in visitors' spaces.“
“Just moved to the area and I was in search of some good Chinese. I’ve been going to the same Chinese place for most of my life living in my previous home and I was nervous to try a new place. This place exceeded expectations with the presentation as well as the taste and flavor!! Definitely a 10/10!“
“Don't be swayed by the dated storefront. This is the gem of Dodd Ave. From the Moo Goo Gai Pan to the Chicken Gizzards with Pork Fried Rice, the food is outrageously just as good as any other take-out joint. Always hot, fast and on point.“
“Their General Tso's chicken is amazing! I stop by there every Friday on my way home from NY and I love it! And sometimes I get delivery and they are always on time and the food is fresh and hot! I highly recommend this restaurant. And they have sushi too!“
“Ordered online for pick up. It said ready in 10 min which was not the case. No big deal as they were busy. The lady behind the window when we went to pickup was pleasant. The food was really good. We've order from at least 3 different Chinese restaurants and this so far is best. The price was very reasonable as well.“
“I cannot say enough good things about this place. The service, food and pricing are all exceptional! I actually found out this place from a coworker of mine and figured I would give it a go because I was in search of a different Chinese food restaurant to start ordering from. I won't name places, but when I first moved to the area in 2010 I went to a different place for a few years but their food quality went WAY down (and way before Covid so that can't even be the excuse). Then I found another place who's food I liked but after Covid their prices skyrocketed. So I gave this place a chance and so glad I did. The pricing is beyond reasonable, the food is always delicious and the service is always fantastic. The lady that takes the orders and takes care of the customers is SO friendly and appreciative. The only downfall is they do not deliver and I don't believe they have anything set up with GrubHub etc. So if you're not close to them, then it could be a hike to go pick up the food. But if you do, it'll be worth it ;)HIGHLY recommend!“
“This spot is very good . It was a bit busy but got a seat fast . I got the chicken tikka which had great flavor also the staff is super friendly and helpful I think every person in the restaurant came to check on despite it being busy , will definitely be coming back .“
“I recently ordered from here and the food was amazing. Some notable dishes are their general tso chicken, boneless spare ribs, and their beef and broccoli was amazing too. I would definitely order food from them again, as this Staten Island spot is my favorite.“
“Food seems fresh and has good taste , portions are smaller than most places, price is much higher than most.Vegetarian options: Lots of available options but im not sure if some is cooked over previously cooked meat or not .Parking: Many spaces in parking lot“
“The best sesame chicken I’ve ever had ! ?I need to know who made this . Because no way this tastes so good !! I’ve never had food from a Chinese restaurant that tastes like this . The sesame chicken had this nice flavorful sweetness to it that really did it for me ! Will be ordering again ?? thank you !“
“Salmon Sashimi was extremely fresh and fatty melting in your mouth wow very good. The shrimp tempura was clean and flavorfulPad Thai was deliciousCalifornia roll was a bit generic but it makes up for it in taste the avocado was rip and fresh so yum.Black Angel Roll holy carp! Lol Soooo delicious try it you’ll thank me.Give this spot a try“
“Yung lan is definitely the best Chinese food in the area. The wonton soup has substantial pieces of roast pork and not skimpy like most places. Broccoli was cooked perfectly and not undercooked like most places. The egg foo young is very tasty and a substantial portion. The chicken fried rice has a generous amount of white meat chicken pieces, unlike most places. This place does it right for sure! It doesn’t get 5 stars because it’s not as amazing as NYC Chinatown ??♀️“
“I can't say enough good things about Three In One! The food is absolutely FANTASTIC! I've eaten there 4 times just this week. The food is freah, flavorful and beautifully presented. The portions are generous enough to always have some to take home.Being a Type 2 diabetic, I've been delighted to discover that the cuisine here does NOT cause my blood sugar to skyrocket like most foods do.The restaurant is very clean and has an open and uncrowded feeling. The waiters are polite and attentive without being bothersome.I'm sure I'm going to return a LOT over the coming years! It's my new FAVORITE spot to eat in and take out.“
“Coriander soup is always delicious. Ribs are horrible. The whole fish is on point. Fried rice is always good. Overall I really like this place. A few menu items I've learned to stay away from. Honestly I can't get enough of their coriander soup, it's soo good.“
“We always enjoyed how hot (temperature) the noodle soups are! Best on a cold night!! We also love their cold dishes. However, we noticed the resteraunt has reduced the food quantity for each dish at least by 1/3 compared to wheen thèy first opened. Sad.“
“I first wanted to say how impressed I am with the food. Definitely some of the best Chinese food I’ve eaten in a long long time. I got the string bean triple and I enjoyed it very much. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant as well. Everybody was so nice and attentive. The food was so good I had to get another dish which was the broccoli with brown sauce. It was prepared so well and tasted amazing. The owner Annie is very nice and welcoming. I already want to go back. 10/10!“
“First time eating at this spot, literally 2 minutes walk from where I live it and I’ve always seen people in and out but never stop and try, Not a big fan of Chinese food but I wanted to try something different today and the wings and barbecue sauce was so good.“
“Wow! This food is excellent & honestly the best I've ever had & I've been eating Chinese food a long time. The only reason I went here is because it was Monday & my favorite place Tomato Garden in Springfield was closed so I decided to try this place because of the reviews & man am I glad I did, this is my new Chinese takeout place & I've been going to tomato garden for over 25 years. I ordered sesame chicken & chicken wings which were absolutely superb.“
“It's great-tasting, well-made Chinese food. By well-made I mean you're NOT going to receive food that's drowned in grease, or all mushy like it's been sitting in a steam table for hours. They have a great selection of different styles. All the standard stuff, plus Szechuan and Cantonese specialties. The prices are reasonable. Staff is very nice. I love that when I order delivery, the driver is from the restaurant, not some internet service.I used to think I'd never find good Chinese food in this area, until I tried Hop Hing. Now I wouldn't go anywhere else.“
“This has been our go to sushi spot- dine in or take out- for years. The fish is super fresh, the service is wonderful and they’re very accommodating. I often change the tuna lover roll to a salmon lover roll, which I think should be on the menu permanently! The tuna don and salmon don is the best deal around- and their salmon is like butter.I’ve tried a few few of their Thai and Chinese dishes and they were fine, but if I want that food I’ll go someplace else.“
“I've been on the hunt for decent Chinese food for quite some time. Well, I finally found our new place! We never ordered from Rice Bowl before so we decided to try to large selection of food...chicken wings, wonton soup, egg rolls, beef with broccoli, bbq spare ribs, shrimp dumplings, mei fun, and shrimp in garlic sauce. It was delicious! I'm so happy to have found a Chinese restaurant that we enjoy!“
“Best Chinese food in the area. The Chicken and Broccoli is incredible and they give you a ton of chicken unlike all the other Chinese spots near by. Their take- out service is super fast so I have never spent longer than ten minutes in the place. My only complaints are they don't deliver and only take cash.“
“I'm from NY and been living in NC for 11yrs. I visited NJ for a few days and decided to order chinese. I ordered chicken and broccoli pork fried rice, rib tips and rice and chicken wings. The price was reasonable and the food was DELICIOUS. I asked for my wings to be crispy and they weren't but they were still good and they forgot my egg roll. Other than that I recommend this place“
“We came to this place for dinner. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was a winning. The staff were very polite and we had a great feeling. The meal was tasty. We had a great time and we will visit this place again. Recommended.“
“I tried to order for delivery and they said they do not deliver. I immediately got dressed to find out how they could servive that way! I was not disappointed. She told me I get a free egg roll with my order and said can I get a wonton soup instead? She said yes with a smile. She gave me an egg roll anyway. It was the freshest non greasy egg roll I ever had. I was amazed! Then they had Franks Red Hot sauce on the table. It was a five star experience.“
“Needing a new "go to" place for Chinese food, we ordered our usual favorites...The entire routine, from ordering, to prep time, to cleanliness, to price were great. The food was prepared and packaged better than any other we were accustomed to. We ordered again 2 days later and was equally impressed.A new "go to" !“
“I've been looking for a good Chinese restaurant in Perth Amboy. I've tried them all and finally found a good one. Back in the, I used Diamond then Lings but this is the new best Chinese restaurant in Amboy. And they have an excellent and friendly website to place your order.“
“This review is long overdue from me, as my family and I have been ordering from here for over 10 years. It is by far the best takeout Chinese food I’ve ever had, and undoubtedly the best in Union County. Also, can’t not mention that it comes at a great price too.“
