I cannot explain the inexplicable joy of walking into a bakery and ordering anything I can see on display. They have a carefully crafted section of snacks, breads and desserts that are all vegan and gluten free. We got some of their biscotti, chocolate chip cookie and crackers and everything was great. You can tell by tasting their treats that it's made from quality ingredients! My husband also ordered a chocolate and raspberry ice cream cake with a granola crust for my birthday and it did not taste like a vegan ice cream. The texture was creamy and gorgeous. I would have liked a little more depth to the ice cream flavors since the coconut added to the crust and ice cream overpowered the rest of the flavors. I'm so glad my husband found this place and this is going to be my go-to bakery when I'm too lazy to bake at home.

I absolutely LOVE everything I’ve tried from Lexi’s Kitchen! Even my non-veg/non-gf relatives love it, and remark at how wonderful their goodies are! The breads can be pretty expensive-but are also delicious, and worth it for a special treat.

So, I showed up here last week on Wednesday in Montclair at 315 and they were closed, even tho hours state until 4pm. That’s the second time they’ve been closed when they’re supposed to be open without any announcements of early closure stated on the door, on IG, FB. Unprofessional. Not coming back.

Once you try their desserts (especially my personal favs: the ice cream bars, cookies, and coffee cake), it’s REALLY difficult not to come back for more - especially with the high quality ingredients they use and yet they don’t compromise on taste at all. The owners are so passionate about what they do and that really comes through! They are some of the kindest people and you certainly won’t regret visiting!

A wonderful serving of great food and compassion....vegan can be delicious besides for being KIND (kind to your body, kind to the environment and kind to other sentient beings).I enjoyed everything I purchased during the recent brunch buffet....the fritters, the cornbread, the kale dish, the cauliflower entree, the lemon cake...all delicious and cruelty free! It's also good for you! What more can one ask for?
We were in the area for a doctor's appointment. Stopped here for a quick lunch. Great place, good food, and friendly staff. We will definitely return next time we are in the area to have a feast.

Oversaw Lexi's kitchen at Princeton's farmers market and their oatmeal date cookies caught my eyes. As a s***** for dates I decided to give it a try. The brownie looked nice as well so I walked home with an oatmeal cookie and a brownie. I didn't know this place was vegan until coming back later on and look up where this place is at. I didn't enjoy the brownie at all. It's moist... but that was it. It wasn't as sweet as typical american brownie, but the aftertaste is rather somewhat bitter w a hint of acidity.. Not sure if it came from some ingredients they used. Or it might just be how vegan brownie tastes like. I did enjoy the oatmeal date cookie. Will try some of the other product.

The citrus loaf is completely OUT OF THIS WORLD!! The flavor and the moist cake texture made it hard to resist. I bought it the day before Easter hoping to serve it for Easter brunch but my family completely devoured it within hours of it being in the house. I can’t wait to return and buy this again. It’s a definite MUST TRY!!!???

This review is long overdo. I have been helping patients try to find healthy choices for so long and the one area we were lacking was with dessert options, until discovering Lexi's Kitchen. Game-Changer! Now, I recommend it for every patient looking for clean, healthy ingredients. I have been gluten free, dairy free & cane sugar free for years and missed the sweet treats until I tasted my first Chocolate Chip cookie from Lexi's. I couldn't believe something could be so good and not activate my food sensitivities. Well, we are hooked! We buy one box for the moment and one for the freezer and they are equally fantastic!
