“Great experience.New visit - they've remodeled since last visit. I don't know if it's any better. Plenty of onion rings but the taste seemed a little different.”
“VERY FAST SERVICE VERY FRIENDLY PEOPLE AND CHEAP FOOD I LOVE ITParking: LOTS OF PARKING PLACES FOR BIG AND SMALL VEHICLESWheelchair accessibility: IT GOT TWO ENTRIES WITH WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY”
“There’s no “substitute” for a great sub, and if a great sub is what you’re looking for, look no further than the Bay Robert’s Subway. Clean, well stocked and with a very polite and friendly staff, this certainly was a pleasant meal! They did not have tuna made up but no one is perfect. Highly recommend. Best meal of my life.”
“They awesome food and the service is always good has well and the prices are greatParking: It's just a awesome spot to go for 1 person 10 or more you want be disappointedWheelchair accessibility: Yes it is wheelchair accessible”
“I love the food here so much. To me it's a staple of Bay Roberts, the staff are good at what they do and the food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend chicken fingers. Even the fussiest of eaters will love them, and the fries are the best I've had. The atmosphere is my favorite it's very welcoming but it will depend on the eye of the beholder. I have so many memories here and I hope its there to stay for old and new to enjoy.”
“Reliably great pizza and an affordable meal . Try the Bay-man fingers, it is creative and really good .Parking: They are close to high school so, lunch is always busy with foot traffic.”
“Sergio's ice cream never disappoints. I wish they had some waffle cones left but they didn't and they said the soft serve was really soft today and I couldn't have it on a regular cone so I had to have it in a cup the Greco pizza was also very good”
“My husband and I loved to go to this club regularly on Sat night, prior to the pandemic. We made friends quickly. Beautiful people. I don’t know if dances are started again. Please let us know.”
“Service was simply amazing. There were 16 of us for our moms birthday. They went above and beyond and even presented our mom with a bouquet of beautiful flowers. The food was really good as well.”
“Came here while staycationing in Harbour Grace. Friendly, speedy service. The garlic fingers were delicious! The pizza was great. No complaints here! Get yourself some 241 ‘za!”
“I want to give a big shout out and thank you to the 2 brothers who are employees of the bay roberts store who rushed to my aid when I fell on the parking lot...there are still good people in this world”
“I was there yesterday and i would just like to say that the world would be a better place if more people like this young girl named Paige worked there ….she was so kind considerate and helpful …..you have a outstanding employee with this young lady ?????”
“Associates were friendly and well spoken. All items seem to be freshly made and abundant. The tables looked clean. Garbage was not overflowing.Always busy, but always moving.”
“It's a McDonald's sure, but it's a friendly, clean, bright space where I can reliably get gluten-free meals, so it's my go-to when I'm on the go. Free wi-fi is also a bonus.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options.”
“Honestly, I am blown away that this place does not have more hits on Tripadvisor, this is such a little hidden gem in Bay Roberts. By far the best ice cream anywhere, and always a must stop when we are in the Bay Roberts area. They have a huge menu, and there are lots of other things that aren't on the menu. With 11 different dips for their soft serve, and 3 different types of soft serve, the possibilities are endless! We constantly talk about what a huge hit a place like this would be if there was one back home.”
“Decided to give this place a try tonight, with my boyfriend and kids. I haven't heard much, and it's surprising! The place was beautiful, the service incredible. He spoke to my kids and made them laugh and they had a blast. The food was delicious, and the portions very generous. I definitely can't wait to come back, and will be telling the people I know about it.”
“food was awesome the staff was top notch very beautiful experience and the historic building along with the way the place is decorated puts you back to the pirate days when Peter Easton hit the shores of Harbour Grace.”
“I was not prepared for how beautiful Brigus was, and this adorable little town houses a quaint little place for the hungry traveler. We tried the crab cakes and the Big Brigus chicken sandwich with fries, dressing and gravy. The crab cakes were great at first, but then get saltier as you eat them. A little hard to finish. The chicken sandwich was quite tasty but a little bland. It needed some seasoning, and only came with mayo and lettuce chunks. I'm not convince with the choice of drowning your fries in dressing and gravy as the dressing really doesn't add anything, and the gravy makes everything soggy. The room itself is sparse but cozy, but their website needs updating. Ensure you make a reservation as this seems to be very important to them. Afterwards, go for walk amoung the adorable houses and visit the cove, and maybe the tunnel.”
“What a find! Really nice and efficient service, very friendly atmosphere and the service was excellent. Lovely "home cooked" food at very reasonable prices. If you are near Brigus then stop in - if only for a coffee but beware... you will be tempted for more .....!”
“This location i have issues with. Windows wide open with no screens all summer, spiders dangling from the ceiling. Really quite the experience trying to play dodge the spider while waiting for supper.Food quality is inconsistant, meats on my pizza were raw after waiting well over an hour, they offered a replacement which took around 45 mins. The staff here are always super nice, but this location needs some serious renovations, inspections and new cleaning habits.UPDATE: Since the new owners took over there is such a drastic difference. Super clean, food is always great and the atmosphere is still awesome. I'd definitely recommend peters in carbonear to anyone now! Hats off to the new owners.”
“I attended the stuff a trunk for Neighbours in Need Newfoundland. We dined in with exceptional hospitality, great food, great atmosphere but mainly its the selfless and giving staff !Thank you so much”
“NOTICE - I went to Tim Horton's in Carbonear tonight with some friends and because I didn't have the NL covid bar code on my passport, they refuse to serve me. She said their system only accepts the NL barcode and they won't accept anything else. The passport I have is the newest one with "Nova Scotia/Canada and barcode on it that Trudeau made acceptable yesterday. Therefore, I guess that means as long as I'm in Carbonear I can't have a Tim's coffee. Even though I went to a restaurant for supper and they accepted the proof of two vaccinations without a scan.”
“Larissa provided us with excellent customer service. Food in general was tasting good, order was accurate thanks to the cooking team in the back. It was not a problem when I accidentally made a small spill with my fountain pop when moving it to try to get it to a table to place the lid on and my nerves pinched and hand jerked and the small slosh ended upon the ground. I was merely trying to get out of the way for the next customer enroute to fill their cups. As a person with disability and having the Shakey hand, it can be embarrassing or inconvenience to others when such an issue arises.Larissa treated it with positive regard to provide a stigma free response and attended promptly with the mop.I enjoyed how fast the food was made, the taste and crispy texture, along with great front end service during this encounter.Parking: There is a drive thru that loops the building, but there is a good number of on site parking spots. I believe there are accessible spots, but I could be wrong, but I believe there was an accessible door or very least no threshold to step over or upto.”
“Always get more than one touton (yummy and cooked well). Fish cakes were pretty good. Service was nice and the atmosphere was cozy. Great place to go before or after going out on the trail.”
