WOW! I've driven by this place, literally, hundreds of times, today was my first stop. How did I not know this was here? I got a delicious cherry empanada with wonderfully flavorful, light, flaky dough and the best peanut butter cookie I've ever had. The green chile sourdough is incredible, also! Don't sleep on this place, if you do, it's your fault.
I love bakeries and Bosque Bakery has so much to love. After a morning of birding, we needed to rest our legs and find a mid-morning snack. We were on foot and Bosque was located within walking distance of the Tingley Beach nature area. So we set our sights and walked the mile, enjoying meandering through neighborhoods until we found this gem. Bosque is located in a section of commercial buildings that have seen better times, close to residential homes and right next to downtown....read full review

Absolutely the very best European style bread in Albuquerque - rustic baguette. Sourdough is great and has a culture with fascinating local origins. Delicious fresh-baked cookies - we're a little crazy for the ginger molasses. Sweet and savory empanadas are definitely worth it.
