Delicias is a good name for this restaurant. I like the food and it couldn't have prettier seating which you'll see in the photos. Chips and salsa come with the meal. So does a yummy vegetable, beef, and rice soup. I've never had that at a Mexican restaurant before. I went today with a friend. Not really my thing. I went in blind looking to try a new breakfast place. I love NM food with green chili. This just was not that. More authentic Mexicasn food with jalapeño green sauce. The DELICIAS CAFE is almost hidden in a small shopping center at San Mateo and Osuna NE, but the authentic Mexican food is consistently fantastic for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is colorful and feels like you are visiting Mexico. You can see the open kitchen supercharged with busy cooks and rushing servers.
