first, the wait staff was great and tended to our needs. That is a 5 star. Second, the atmosphere was crowed, and the place is dated for sure. Third, the food- salt on chips- which is a no no- let the customer salt their own, beans mushy, over salted also. Poor quality Spanish rice. The mains of the plate were very good, however, their chile is more non New Mexican as it has no heat or flavor at all. After a long travel day, I just wanted what I've yearned for since last year--New Mex fare. They delivered on the stuff I wanted them to: Adovada, Sopapillas, bottle of Honey on the table, and friendly familia service. Was it the best I've had? Nah. But was it everything this fella was looking for? In...deed. Their Adovada is definitely not for tenderfoots who are not used to it. It puts the kick, in kick anus. I'll sleep good tonite. All bets are off tomorrow morning...

Thoroughly mediocre experience. The food wasn’t bad exactly but not at all notable. The red sauce is so mild it’s practically flavorless. Would have gone with two stars but they give you free chips and salsa and a sopapilla. Don’t recommend but it will do in a pinch.
