Can't deny that this place is a total dive, but that's why I like it. Good prices, unpretentious, pool/sports, no drama. A real neighborhood bar, nice spot to hang out. I just wish they had hamburgers on the menu!
I'm not a regular patron at Howie's maybe a handful of times because it's too far from where i live, but if I'm in the area I'll stop by for a drink. I've never had a bad experience here with staff. I like to write reviews on places I have visited at least twice, so when I saw this nasty review that was uncalled for and not the truth I am even more delighted to write this review! Holiest is a friendly bar with several TVs to watch sports. The owner puts on a good spread on Saturdays.The only issue we had was the sorry state of the parking lot & the fact the shopping center is very run down. Dirty, trash & cigarette butts everywhere. Howies was clean inside.
